This guy is being wined and dined and he orders a strip steak? Marvin has a lot to learn. The filet mignon is the obvious choice. Other then that, the tweener stuff is a tad disconcerting. Sounds an awful lot like a young player already on the Hawks.

That makes no sense. If they are desparate to get out of Theo's contract why would they agree tot take back Boozer's, isn't his just as big and just as long?

Actually, the longer your arms the harder it is to bench press a particular weight, so it is not uncommon to see individuals with shorter arms having better bench press numbers.

You guys should check the results from the combine. Deron tested out as the athletic equal to Paul and Felton.

For a team pick anywhere outside the top 10, Raymond Felton has to be a strong consideration.

I voted for Conroy. Could be an Earl Watson type steady point.

Roberson is an excellent defender as well. Bynum will be lucky to get drafted.

Give me the guy that is going to make the team better in the long run. A good point guard or good center is the best way to do that.

Comparing Marvin to Jordan and Bird is crazy, they are two of the 10 best players of all time. There is absolutely no guarantee that Marvin amounts to anything more then Tim Thomas. There is no guarantee he becomes a better player then Josh Smith.

I would do that trade. I think a good point guard can make Josh Smith and Josh Childress look like absolute studs - both have shown a willingness to take it to the hoop and a good point guard would create opportunities for them. This is similar to Nash's impact on Stoudamire.

No way Josh Smith can play shooting guard. Childress definite maybe in terms of long range ability to play shooting guard, but now chance with Josh Smith.

Interesting take on the games of the top point guards. I actually think Paul has the much more well developed offensive game as he is a much better shooter then either Williams or Felton. I like Both Paul and Williams for their pure point guard skills. I like Williams for his defense and intangibles and Felton for his speed. Only time will tell which is the best. They are all talented enough, particularly Paul and Williams, to warrant selection at number 2.

I think a poin guard at number 2 overall is a real possibility. Whether PAul or Williams is best is hard to quantify. The only thing you can say is that both are extremely talented.

Paul's height should be a non-factor now as he clearly is at least as tall as guys former standouts like John Stockton, Kevin Johnson, Mookie Blaylock, Kenny Anderson, Mark Price, Terrell Brandon, etc. and similar in height to current standouts Mike Bibby, Tony Parker, etc. It also bears mentioning that he will be taller then contemporaries Sebastian Telfair, Jameer Nelson, TJ Ford, Raymond Felton, Dan Dickau, Luke Ridenour, Chris Duhon, etc.

They are not wingspan, they re standing reach measurements.

If we agree that Dougherty is a good comparison for Bogut, the question that needs to be asked is whether you consider him a franchise player.

Dougherty was good but not great by any stretch. He was a step below Hakeem, Patrick, Robinson, etc. Injuries held him back to an extent but he lacked the sheer athletic ability of some of his more accomplished contemporaries. Good smart player though.
