I'm as eager as anyone to see this team play, but you are supposing that pretty much every single player meets or exceeds expectations. If that happens we'd be a top 4 East team and I don't see that happening and I'd welcome all crow to eat if that happens. Too much youth and inexperience expected to see major minutes.

I don't understand the deal for either team. I guess Houston saves a little money off of Anderson's deal, but are they banking on an injured Knight and Lazy Chriss. Phoenix - still without a PG.

Life - I had a 10 year old Birthday Party to plan this past Saturday. You know the world is ending if it doesn't go just right. She wanted to go to iFly, so she got to go to iFly. She wanted a pet bird, so she got a pet bird. That sucker lasted 5 hours. Woke Sunday morning to tears and hysterics, only the promise of two birds quelled the tears. All is well this morning with Max and Ivory. What a weekend!!!

We more than likely pick up his team option of $3.4 mil next summer. The following summer is when we'll have to pay him.

Hawks have Team option on Prince for the 2019-20 season for $3.4 mil. In 2020, Qualifying offer of $4.7 mil making him a RFA.

Baze as the best player in 2017-18??????....bunch a jack legs, especially Brad - his love for Muscala was annoying and irrational. Baze was our most consistant player last season, I give him that. When you compare his 2016-17 season to last season, then yeah - he'll look like the best player since his numbers the previous year were all kinda HORRID. Baze started last season needing to attach an asset to dump his contract, by the trade deadline, neutral value, by the end of the season, talk of getting an actual asset. So considering where he started vs where his value is today - Good for the Hawks. Best Player though? In what universe.
