  1. Well there goes my big board, time to dust off the medium board.
  2. Interesting read on VC from this past April: https://theundefeated.com/features/vince-carter-diary-sacramento-kings-i-plan-on-coming-back-one-more-season/
  3. In his 17 mpg last year he average 1.4 assists, I think that's greater than 0. He also averaged 4 assists in SL....greater than 0.
  4. With the 27th Selection in the 2018 Hawksquawk Dynasty Draft The Lady JayBurds select 28 year old KEMBA HUDLEY "c'mon Mom and Dad, Hudley?" WALKER. Every team needs a floor general with a steady hand. As the years have progressed so has Kemba's overall game. Learning to adequately balance his scoring with his ability to run the team effectively has propelled him into a top PG. He doesn't need the ball to be effective and as such will fit nicely with Giannis and Booker. PM to @TheNorthCydeRises to follow.
  5. I'm ready to go, but I'll wait until turner has re-selected.
  6. Just like you're welcome to your opinion. No kool-aid, just common sense based on current roster make up. You're drinking the Koolaid if you think 3rd string PG Hamilton has any bearing on Spellman playing or not - his conditioning will determine how much he plays. Hamilton is a Practice body and emergency PG.
  7. Vince it is. I dig it. I enjoyed his SL coverage.
  8. With the 22nd Selection in the 2018 Hawksquawk Dynasty Draft The Lady JayBurds select 22 year old DEVIN ARMANI BOOKER. Giannis needs shooters around him and boy can Devin shoot it. He can also put the ball on the floor if needed to score for himself or create for others. I'm using the D.P.S. model here to build my team.
  9. Disagree. I don't like preconceptions based on draft slot after the draft as it relates to playing time - if you can play, play. John Collins was expected to be a lottery pick, he fell to #19. That shouldn't be held against him and it wasn't. Besides, #30 picks usually end up on teams in the playoffs that have vets, so more often than not they aren't on rebuulding teams like Spellman is. He'll play and back up JC.
  10. Draft lottery slot has ZERO to do with GL minutes. It's more a function of lack of playing time on the NBA team because of players ahead in the rotation. There are a plethora of wings on the team. Not so much in the front court. Hamilton may be slotted as 3rd PG, but how many quality minutes does that get him? I suspect Dorsey will see more minutes at PG than Hamilton. Schlenk has to determine of Dorsey is worth keeping and resigning in the offseason. Huerter missed the entire SL, will he be limited in camp? Or ready to go full steam ahead? This has some determination on how he starts the season.
  11. Too soon to tell. End of game rotations to close out games will be a great indicator. If the young guys are why we win I think Schlenk will live with the results indicating that they have improved in leaps and bounds. The team appears to have more talented players but they are young, meaning growing pains PLUS a new Coach. The trade deadline will also be an indicator of the plan for the rest of the season.
  12. My issue with Teague is those moments were too few knowing the talent I knew he had. He was too content at times just being there....grab the bull the horns and tske it to the opponent.
  13. Good one. Sturt trying to sneak one past us. Lol
  14. I have no idea who he is. He might be spending time in the GL on assigment.
  15. A 19 year Collins was Illyasova's backup. I see no reason (other than his conditioning) why a 21 year old Spellman can't back up Collins if the plan is to develop the young players. Like I said, Prince will see minutes at the 4, I just don't think significant minutes. Additionally, I think Huerter will spend time in GL. I'm still ambivalent on Lin's ability to stay on the floor meaning Dorsey and Bembry will see time at PG
  16. Well....I did not expect a turnover comparison as a 'type', lol. Good one Supes.
  17. I don't think he's done if he's willing to accept a 'gunner off the becnh role.' Take ownership and control of the 2nd unit.
  18. If it's one thing players can do, is control their EFFORT on defense. Bring the effort is all I ask!
  19. Not significant. Prince is our only true SF with size: 6'-8". He may see spot minutes at the 4 in our small ball lineups though.
