I understand the terms of the Lin deal, and its a pick swap in 2023. If we had traded for Beli or Illy to Philly at the deadline we would have had 2-×nd from Philly and Bayless and $9 mil. Instead we have Lin at $13.8 mil.

Something else doesn't make sense, at the deadline - Schtink said the only deals he got for Beli and Illy was taking on 2 year deals for a 2nd (Bayless and a 2nd). But yet he just took Lin at $13.8 mil for a A VERY DISTANT 2nd when Bayless is $9mil. Me thinks Schtink is getting taken to the cleaners. Side eye watching.

Faried is an expiring who has been riding the pine in Denver, there's no tension to be had. Heck just buy him out. The idea is to get an asset now, 2 even 3 years from now, not a 2nd ROUNDER IN SEVEN YEARS.

Faried and Arthur are ALSO expiring contracts so that doesn't affect our capspace for next season. Faried's contract is a similar amount to Lin's. Faried could also be an option to make a move midseason and he's at least healthy.
