  1. Except all the offers floating on the interwebs is stuff like Vuceviv for Dennis, Biyombo and a 2nd for Dennis, Noah and Mudiay for Dennis, Knight for Dennis. Dudley and Knight for Dennis. They can keep every single one of those suggestions and shove it.
  2. Or maybe the combo works in spurts and it forces the other team to go small to match us? Like I said, i don't think it will be a staple, just used in spurts.
  3. Very true...let's get back to Spellman.
  4. Dallas is interested in signing him if his ask is not to crazy, let him go there along with one of Capela, DeAndre Jordan(if he is stupid enough to opt out of $28 mil) or Cousins.
  5. Exactly, I'm not sure why it's hard to understand when operating from a position of strength and it appears you get the short end, it leaves you with question marks - in both this trade and the Bud negotiation. That's the gist.
  6. Hold up....didn't the Falcons have that name for the 1998 team defense.
  7. Pass. 1. I don't want anything from Boston, they haven't looked so good when they leave Brad. 2. He'll command too much money and I don't think we are in a position to do that. 3. I'd rather give Bembry a his last shot.
  8. It matters, because it speaks to Schlenks negotiating skills or lack thereof.
  9. I'm not sure why this is so hard to understand. It's not that he made the trade - it's the return, particularly when Philly got an unprotected pick trading down from 10 to 16. Feels like Schlenk is just not a shrewd negotiator. Granted he's new to the job especially since last year there wasn't much negotiating to be done at 19.
  10. If only Jarrett Jack had been healthy @kg01
  11. From Cunningham's initial article, he didn't think they would play a ton of minutes together. Dennis starts with Baze, Baze sits, Trae comes in, they play together awhile, Dennis sits. I don't think it's the plan to get them a ton of minutes together.
  12. I was thinking so initially, but Travis likes guys who can Dribble, Pass, Shoot - DPS.
  13. Ball protection, the ability to absorb contact and finish, his midrange improved. He was money on that baseline out of bounds play in the midrange. His defense and 3ball took a nose dive off a cliff. What's funny is, I've already heard the narrative that the reason Trae was so bad defensively was because he had to carry the offense.....sounds familiar, same can be said about Dennis. Then again if the Hawks are deliberately trying to lose games, why give a hoot on defense.
  14. There was a time when I had high hopes for Moose to be above serviceable. Then played Summer League- he was one of the 'vets' he was so bad, falling all over the place, getting out muscled - I knew it was over. This was who he was. It was either his 2nd or 3rd SL year...just pitiful.
  15. Only time will tell if the plan to play them both works and if Dennis remains long term.
  16. I'm cool with it too. Too many minutes and the green light will turn him into an inefficient chucker. That's cause they didn't like Dennis to begin with and they are mad he took Teague's spot. Dennis is a flawed player but you would think he's utterly useless on the court the way some talk. Granted Dennis hasn't helped his cause by his offcourt stuff.
  17. Ouch. Spud ain that speedy though. This is more @Spud2nique
  18. owner and marketing making decision, sigh.
  19. I gave you a like, but I'm taking it back
