  1. Word was he became a deva, wanted more of the offense run for him - instead of doing what got him the big pay day to begin with. I'm more interested in the #14 pick than his actual on court play.
  2. I get the sentiment but after this years failed attempt at getting zip for Beli, Illy etc....I'm luke warm on that.
  3. Thing is though Denver has been trying to trade Faried for the past 2 seasons. He got the big pay day but his game never improved.
  4. During my hiatus, eehem elsewhere.......there were 4 trades that I wanted us to make since we were rebuilding to get additional 2018 1st round picks: 1. With the Bucks before they traded for Bledsoe. 2. Denver for Faried 3. Pistons before they traded for Blake Griffin 4. Minny for their OKC 2018 pick. All these teams that would have salary cap issues this offseason but still wanting to upgrade their team and try to stay in the playoffs or make the playoffs.
  5. No no no. Our draft should not have ANY bearing on the likes of possible free agent signings the likes of Noel and heck no to Beasley. Atlanta has capspace so every middling FA will have all eyes on Atlanta.
  6. Sorry man. They may be NBA fans that live in Atlanta vs actual Hawks fan, there's a big difference.
  7. Yes he drafted Pau but traded Pau for Abdur-Raheem. So it could be that Memphis told the Hawks who to take on their behalf. Diaw didn't fit the style of play that the coach wanted. Chris Paul is still in the league too.
  8. I'm hearing a ton of noise. It's the season of rumors, misdirection, inuendos and lies. Can't wait for it ti end.
  9. We may argue and disagree but all in all, we are Hawks fans hoping the best for the team. (Or at least I hope so) It's not easy being a Hawks fan, takes someone special to be all in with this.
  10. If Ayton and Bagley are gone. Take Doncic. If he doesn't want to come over, trade with Memphis at #4+ or Dallas for #5+ and take Bamba. Hope that whatever 'plus' you get from 4 or 5 is enough to combine with #19 and move up. This thing has so many moving parts.
  11. The magic is at #6, they have Isaac, Gordon is a RFA - that's it. What position does these guys play?
  12. I don't think we trade back past 6 or 7. Look to Dallas at #5 maybe? But I don't see anything else they'd give us except a 2019 1st round pick. Chicago is at #7. They also have pick #22. Maybe they can trade Portis and #22 for a higher pick, say the Wiz at #15, and send us that pick?
  13. Babcock previously was an assistant coach for Erie of the G League, before that team became a Hawks affiliate. Pierce said player development will be Babcock’s primary responsibility with the Hawks. Pierce’s staff includes five assistant coaches. They are Melvin Hunt (lead), Marlon Garnett , Chris Jent, Greg Foster and Matt Hill. Jent is the only assistant retained from the staff of Pierce’s predecessor, Mike Budenholzer.
  14. Seems like we had this discussion before. My answer still the same...No.
  15. Some might even quit the Hawks. We are in for a very interesting offseason.
  16. Well...all I know is whoever we pick, let the meltdown commence.
