JJ and Bibby take too many jumpers. Hell how often have they both been hot or shot well in the same game. Flip is a scorer not a shooter. A scorer will find a way to get the ball into the hole. Bibby doesn't penetrate, doesn't slash, doesn't play defense. He just chucks shot after shot after shot. Truly I have never seen what he offers that was vastly superior to Tyrone Lue. He doesn't rack up assists. It has been said on here several times if his shot isn't falling he is useless. I mean that fact that he is a chucker is killing JJ as well. I mean most of Bibby's shots are wide open. Where do you think that other defender is? With JJ and Bibby doing nothing but taking jumpers the battle has been half won for the the other teams defense. Flip/Acie are slashers that is the kind of player we need playing with JJ not someone who does the samething he does. Hell Acie has shown that he can actually run an offense and distribute the ball. That is what we need. With Al, Smoove, Flip, Marvin, and Evans there is no need to constantly let the ball remain in the backcourt with JJ and Bibby. I mean only as a team will we succeed. JJ can't carry us we need to carry ourselves and if we win and he has a monster of a game than let that be the icing on the cake. There is no way Bibby shouldn't be average 8-10+ assists a game. They all know that Bibby will just camp out in his spot and chuck jumpers.

We whipped the Lakers plain and simple. I can just hear ESPN talking about Kobe's injury but he looked fine to me. He wasn't limping or walking gingerly. We beat them plan and simple. The crowd was about 60-40 in favor of the Hawks. Smoove spent the pregame shootaround shooting 3's and long jumpers with Mark Price!! I am sitting there like WTF!!!!

I think that Smoove, Marv, and Al need to work on their post moves. Smooves needs to play with a little more poise. He seems out of control at times. MArv needs to start using his sweeping hook a little more. Acie needs to work on his jumpshot. I think that Solo needs to get stronger and work onhis psot offense. He is getting comfortable with his jumper as well. I think that the key to out success will be on player development. I think that only Marv and Horf brought new dimensions to their games this year. Smoove has actually regressed a little.

I just never considered him to be an elite quarterback. The guys at the office who are really big Georgia/SEC fans state the same. How is it possible that he may be the number one pick in the draft. Am I missing something here because he appeared to be average at best to me??

Oh god not another Marvin thread!! You know Who is coming!!! Seriously JJ is starting to hit his shots again after taking most of the year off. That has nothing to do with MArvin. I mean are you guys superstitous or something.!!! This has less to do with Marvin than with JJ.

Last year this time we were very likely to not even make the playoffs. Now he are a 4th seed and may get to host the opening round series. On top of that if all the top seeds win out we will get our rematch against the Celtics. With all of the success that we have had this year considering we haven't been playing out best ball and we are still above .500 why is there so much hate on here. 1. We have one of the best starting fives in the league. 2. Bibby is an integrated part of the offense. He is a shoot first pg. 3. With five guys capable of having big nights everyone can't average 25 ppg. There aren't enough shots to go around. I think that Marv, Smoove, and Horf all have good shooting percentages. 4. JJ will continue to take a majority of the shots and play a majority of the minutes. 5. Our starting 5 haven't played that many games together overall 6. Zaza has become more aggressive as the season progresses. Just remember where we were last year and the year before and be thankful to be where we are are today. We started 21-10 and now we are 39-28 so we were 18-18 after the first 31 games. We have 15 more to go. It would be great if we could crack 50 wins!!! Everyone has contribute this season. SO this theory that we have dead weight is stupid. JJ is finally starting to hit his shot. He has been playing bad all year long.

What had me puzzled was the I never realized that Mario West is listed at 6'5. There is no way!!

This contract will most likely be his last one anyway and he has never had the chance to choose where he plays. My question is why do we think it is guaranteed that he wants to comeback. He may want to go back to the west coast or play for a true contender. He has been pretty quite and I have never heard any reports of him wanting to stay or go for that matter. There are going to be teams that come after him hard.

Yeah I think so too. I mean JJ is pretty much playing pg. So we need a guard who can guard opposing points and break down the defense. If Acie was being brought on properly then we could let Bibby walk as I am pretty sure his offense could be replaced collectively. Woody should give Law more pt at the point just for defensive purposes. He isn't great but he is better than Bibby. I mean if Speedy was active if probably would be a major help for us defensively. We play decent Zone but damn near every pg in the league can get passed Bibby.
