If we decied to go big during the course of a game, based on who we have now what will be our most effective lineup? PG-JJ SG-Marvin Williams (I read somewhere that he can play the 2) SF-Josh Smith PF-Sheldon C-ZAZA This has got me thinking about other scenarios that would allow us to use our versatility Speed/small lineup PG-Speedy SG-Salim SF-JJ PF-Marvin C-Josh Smith These are just some combinations where we could possibly be dangerous next season. I hope that we learn from Dallas' success and don't be afraid to try different lineups. We could suprise some teams next season. I do have some questions that you guys can answer 1. What would be our best defensive lineup? 2. What would be our offensive lineup be? 3. What would be our best uptempo lineup? 4. What would be our best lineup against the Elite EC teams such as Miami and Detroit? All these lineups should be based on the players that we have right now (minus AL). Let's see what we can come up with. This should keep us busy until we hear something about Al.

What teams do you guys think would want his services and what could we get back for him. I say that we may can work something out with Denver. JR Smith is not a starter in this league. I think that he and Andre MIller salaries are similiar and theu have been in the hunt for a sg. personally I like Stephen Jackson he was a good Hawk.

Shooting range. DId you watch any of the games last year. Marvin has a sweet jumper that was really consistent. SO he has the range.

Is it that we have versatile players? The fact that we have a legitimate pg, what is our main strength going into the upcoming season.

The talk was that he was more valuable to trade in the off season and now it appears that we may be very limited on what we can get for him.

I think that Woody has just been doing what he was asked to do and that is coach the team. Belkin was there when he was approved to coach the team. He never spoke publicly about the ownership situation.

I was wondering myself if the Spirit group knew that end was coming would they try to run the team into the ground. I know that I would run it into the ground if I was in there position. There is nothing sweeter that getting even with somebody. Nothing!!!

With all of the parity in the league every team thinks that they have a shot to make the playoffs or better. I mean I would call Miami a dynasty. I mean anybody has a chance of winning the championship (just about anyone). I have never seen this much activity in the NBA ever. As a fan I love it because I am starting to believe that the Hawks are going to be in the playoff hunt next season and anything can happen once the playoffs start. Hell we beat 13 of the 16 playoff teams last season.

It is apparent that Indiana is falling off and that they need Al Harrington. That is more reason that we should send him out west. You guys may not remember but when Al was a Pacer he used to torch the Hawks every time we played them. I say that we send him out west and watch Indiana Implode. That would be once less team that we have to worry about in our quest for the playoffs next season. If they can't land Al then they will probably trade JO and start rebuilding either now or next season. They pretty much let Stojavic walk for nothing and I had the feeling all alone that they didn't want him becuase that offer for Artest was on the table for nearly a year and that waited until the last minute to pull the trigger.

What upside are you talking about. He got his money on upside potential and never lived up to it. He has been in the league to long and hasn't produced. You can't say that he didn't get enough minutes because he was a starter initially. If he was such a defensive mastermind that would have been enough to keep him a starter.

Chandler hasn't done crap since he has been in the league to justify his salary. He is a big stiff. If he was WHITE he wouldn't be getting all of the love that he is getting. Look at his career numbers. Guys they stink to high heaven. How does bringing him here complete our team. I would rather have an undersized center who brings the effort rather than a natural center who doesn't. Chicago should not have had to sign Wallace, Chicago should not have to give a guy a big contract then replace him in the starting lineup when he is healthy. Please look at his numbers and his salary. You have got to be F*CKING KIDDING ME about bringing him here. He has been in the league long enough to prove what he can do. It is not like he is going to come here and give us 25 12 and 3. He doesn't have it in him. I wasn't a fan of the Shelden pick but I guarantee that if he plays center his rookie season stats will be better than any of Chandler's seasons in Chicago. Shelden is battle tested.

What position does Monta Ellis play? I am sure that they have a forward that we could put in the rotation.

He stated that Marvin was a 3 and that Smoove was a 4. He stated that Marvin would play a little at the 4 but that he was 3 man. This sums up all of the talk about who plays what. This came from BK himself folks.

I don't think that that they would move Miller until They got someone else in to replace him. I don't see them being a serious playoff contender with Earl Boykins as their startin PG and don't forget they traded Earl Watkins.

They really don't have any players or than O'Neil that anybody wants and they have already stated that they were not going to trade him. Why would we want Tinsley. He is injured all the time and when is isn't Anthony Johnson outplayed him for his spot.

they are going to keep Mo Williams. Damn they now have a solid front court of Simmons, Charlie V, and Bogut. This also means that Toronta won't resign Mike James. I personally don't want him here.
