How do you know that for sure?? We have based our opinions of Belkin based on what the other owners said. BK has got to be shaking in his boots right now.

I mean how much do we really know about the guy before we knock him. We don't know if the rumors of him wanting to run the team on the cheap. That was what one of the other owners said. I can say this about Belkin he single handedly out smarted what 8 other owners and is now in a position to completely control the teams. He must be respected for that. He didn't come into being rich by accident and maybe he just thought that the Joe Johnson deal wasn't a good business deal and that maybe we were getting fleeced by Phoenix. I would rather have one owner that 8 or 9. I say we give Belkin a fair chance because it is not like we are championship material right now anyway. I have had the chance to think about this and realize that there is no way but up.

The more I res the more I am convinced tha BK can't go wrong with any pick in this draft. I was concerned that he would draft Gay but Gay and Morrison will be gone by the time we pick. I checked his stats and he appeared to be pretty solid in the defense and rebounding category. Has anyone here seen him play as I don't really follow the college game too much. If so what are you impressions of him.

The thing about JM is that the 8.3 million that he makes is exactly what he deserves. He is however going to want more money than that when he isn't worth it. I don't like the way he plays either.

But what team would totally risk their future. The eastern conference is on the rise big time and can they afford to take a gamble on a player who is already starting to break down. 15-20 million for a guy who can't even give you 8 ppg that is ridiculous. He is currently averaging 4.3 ppg and 10.3 rpg and 1.27 bpg for the playoffs. Can we say role player!! I hope Detroit gives him a 9 figure contract. That would ty up their salary cap for the forseeable future.

I watched a few of the Lakers games and I think that he can be a very good player if you get him from around Kobe. He had a bad playoff series and the talk in LA is that theh need a point guard. Now this is god for us because BK can offer him a lowball contract 4 years 20 million. He will probably bite fot it. He may thrive in out team-oriented atmosphere.

Honestly I don't think that Dumars will give him that kind of money. He deserves a little more than than the other guys but not double their salary. The Hawks maybe semi-desperate but BK will never fork over that Kind of money for Ben Wallace. If Ben was 5 years younger and puttin up the same stats it would still be too much.

I am really thinking that we should get the layer that is best ready to contirubute right away. We are in no shape to draft a player with potential. Are the the Hawks or the Atlanta Potentials. We really need to draft for a need. There is no telling how much our guys will improve this summer. SMoove and Chillz have comeback better so far afer their first couple of offseasons. Marvin should be solid next year. We need the draft the most ready to contribute big man available. We didn't have a problem scoring our problem was defense and therefore that is our greatest need.
