I love pumping up Hawks players as much as the next guy, but Horford better than Karl Malone? That's a pretty massive stretch.

This is a beautiful article. Seeing how well the team is all getting along is refreshing. Smart, unselfish players...it's a work of art.

We have a 4 game lead in the East. Really makes that Raptors/Bulls weekend a little less salty.

The thought of losing Ferry, Bud or Koonin is pretty terrifying.

I have several business trips scheduled between this month and February and I know I can stream the games from my laptop, but I'd much rather go to a bar with potentially other hawks while away from Atlanta.

Worst part is that I will be traveling for 2 huge games. I'll be in NY for the Toronto game this weekend, and in Miami for the Warriors game in February.

Do any of you guys know of any bars in NY and Miami where Hawks fans hang out?

If you have an iphone or an Android, DirecTV has an app called "Bar Finder" that shows a map of places around your location that have DirecTV. When you tap the location it tells you what sports packages they have available. Pretty handy when traveling.

Our starters are averaging low 30's in mpg, if they were in the high 30's I would be concerned. I think it's too early to start resting players we're not even at the midway point of the season yet.

Besides when you are blowing out teams, the starters are getting quite a rest, lol. These are the minutes for our starters last game: 28, 32, 29, 25, 30.

Pero is 32 and takes a beating every night. If Bud wants to give him a night off every 2 weeks, No worries.

The AJC is notoriously cheap. It is less than surprising that they don't want to spend a few grand every week sending a guy to away games.  With the thousands of online options, who still reads that mess?

Bob and Nique are so over the top with their homerism that it just RULES. 

Not sure if anyone notices, but when the camera catches him, he actively does fist pumps when the Hawks score. He is reaching Heinsohn levels of homertasticness!

Some folks at the game are saying that it wasn't a sell out and that some seats were curtained off. That's what some are saying on the teams official facebook page. They shouldn't lie to us about attendance. If it's not a sellout don't tell us that it is.

For once, I am glad I was not quoted. I knew the team would be good, but never thought they'd be quite THIS good.

And I forget who said it, but saying the Hawks are the worst run team in all of sports is asinine. That's not even close to reality. That's just a blindly stupid statement.

Really?  You're gonna use 1 game as an example when I could find dozens of quotes from our players, other teams players, media people, etc. that talk about how boring it is to play in Atlanta? 

 

And I don't care for the players PR on a game when they can't say anything bad as it is.  I watched the whole game and didn't even notice the crowd until the final 3-4 minutes.

 

Anyway that's enough time arguing about a fact and I've made my point. 

? Drummond was sick and pulled from the game by SVG. If Drummond was himself the outcome would have been different but give yourself a pat on the back if you want.

Your ability to tell the future rules! Who is to say we don't win by more? Their guards hitting horrible shots was the reason for their comeback.
