I really hope the Kings are still trying to get Josh Smith. That should derail the season pretty well.

It's not the spilt milk that I'm crying over.  It's the fact that we're reaching back into the refrigerator and we haven't learned how to hold the milk bottle.

Shareef was better off not hustling back on defense for another team. Lazy, lazy player. Nique trade was a tremendous error. Smith, too. Deke was 34, so at least it made some sense (although he somehow played until he was FORTY TWO).

Joe Johnson's contract was a huge albatross for the team. It had to go. Luckily for the Hawks there was an insane Russian billionaire out there to take on that beast. His numbers were on the decline. He was over 30. The time was right.

Joe Johnson makes more than Lebron.

But totally worth it.

Hawks win 45+ games this year. Book it.

Is this the NBA's way of sticking it to us over the Danny Ferry/A$G idiotic behavior? That's now two games we've lost flat out to refs.

Nobody remembers or cares about that.

Except they're seemingly taking off multiple years between seasons. I'm beginning to wonder if they'll ever come back. And while I do love that show, it's not as good as Seinfeld was. But it's still a very good show. 

I actually like it better. They can do so much more on HBO. 

Larry David has said that he doesn't have material for a new season yet...another season is currently up in the air. Sadly.

I meant new episodes. 

Curb Your Enthusiasm is a good watch for the same basic feel of a show.

I miss Seinfeld.

Well it's hard for me to talk about ticket prices since I'm not in Atlanta or going to games there but seeing how much cheaper the Grizzlies have tickets bugs me. 

 

The idea is even better as it encourages fans to be there at tip off. And good on you for not always being a hater. 

Atlanta fans don't show up for tip-off, kick-off or first pitch. There is nothing you can do to fix this. It's just the way it is.

This is absurd.

Not that I think it would ever actually happen, but Webber having any pull or say in the team would be a total disaster.

Only in the way that the Mavs didn't actually draft Dirk.  It is a distinction without a difference.

But it does kind of matter that it wasn't like they earned the #13 pick. They had to trade for it. All of the other examples are ones where a terrible team lucked out. That makes them different.

Lebron was drafted by Cleveland #1 overall

Durant was drafted by OKC #2 overall

Kobe was drafted by LAL late in the lottery

Spurs drafted Duncan #1 overall

Paul was acquired in a trade for LAC's successful lottery pick (Eric Gordon) and Minnesota's 2012 lottery pick

I think Kobe was traded for. Drafted by the Hornets and traded for Divac.

A complete player can be a primary scorer and decision maker...Lebron is a complete player..Thabo is not!  just rebounding, D and hitting open shot is describing Thabo or DMC not Lebron

Well using that as the benchmark is pretty lofty. It's semantics, but I think  most would consider a "complete player" as someone who can contribute positively on both ends. Muscala's or Jenkins' stat lines from last night work. Pretty good all-around games.
