Not sure that would be in the best interest of the team. Maybe to come off the bench for some minutes, but this team has become too accustomed to life without him.
-
As long as Pero and Millsap keep hitting outside shots, Teague will have a field day.

I am completely on board with Bud as coach. This guy makes a lot of bold moves (Lou benching) that turn out to work. Not only that, but making other teams adjust to the Hawks is something we have not seen in years.
Oh, and the "2 fouls" thing is finally gone. Mercifully.

Winning game 2 will be tough. I do think we can take both in Atlanta though.
-
Dikembe would probably be the best fit, but Smith and Mookie are right there. All three would tremendously help on defense. Smith and Mookie would help on both ends.

Apparently Roy Hibbert is pretty sick of Lance as well. I think we all are at this point.

Because they want to win. The other center they have is also good and they are playing FIBA basketball, which is different the way the center has to defend or attack.
BTW Estudiantes has played today against Real Madrid (the best team in Europe right now, they haven't lost a single game this year in the national league)
23 minutes
10 points (5/7 FG)
4 rebounds
4 blocks
1 assist
Damn.. I missed that game, I think I would have liked to see this one where he could face some players with very good level (and some of them like Sergio Rodriguez or Mirotic are NBA players without any doubts)

There are 2 blocks from Lucas in the video... as well as some mistakes in defense...
What I loved: He gets a nice block, keeps it in play so his team can start a fast break, and then hustles for the alley-oop at the other end. Just brilliant play there.
I know he still needs work, but plays like that show me his head is in the right place.

And really, saying Horford was injured because he was playing Center? C'mon now.
It's the seriously worst medical hypothesis I have ever read. And I seem to read it a lot.

Smith still can't throw an outlet pass, or a two-handed pass. He is fundamentally broken beyond repair.
-
He should get in on his Gold Club line "Who wants to sex Mutombo!?" alone.
-
Yeah I am also curious about this.
Edit: DirecTV has it listed on channel 751 (NBALP) for tonight. SOMEBODY is airing it. Only one feed though.

A "Special Delivery" Jones reference has made my day.

Drink heavily.

I have to admit, I am shocked that Dirk has scored that many points. Pretty amazing career.

Let's get the facts a little bit straighter.
Spoolstra took over in 2009.
He had two seasons where his team went to the first round of the playoffs. The first year, their second leading scorer (Marion) missed half of the season. The next year, Wade was the team. The point proven by Wade James and Bosh is that it requires more talent than just one superstar player to win in this league. When they got Wade, James, and Bosh, they went to the finals. They lost.
So my point is that moves can be made that gets you into the championship picture faster than waiting a quarter of a century for something to develop.
Your point is what???
That you can win without talent or that it takes a long time to get talent??
Richard Dent?? Is that you?
So all we need is for the best player on the planet to hold the NBA hostage and decide to bring his talents to Atlanta.
Piece of cake!

Playoff money = 1 million a game on ticket sales alone.
Uhh...and?

I can usually have fun watching a game win or lose...but that was painful. I bailed in the 4th.

Why not just acknowledge that all players have off nights???
It's funny that you categorize it as an off night for one player and typical for another.
There's not one player in the league that hasn't had a few off nights.
Conversely Josh Smith has a few on nights.

Great first half. Better keep DD and Lowry in check.

We could have Moses and Jesus and they still wouldn't support us!
Old and New Testament...together at last!

Well except that it was widely announced by both parties that it was going to be done. You're either no fun or just finding things to whine about. Or both. Were they engaging the fans though? People thought the account was hacked because of all of the stupid and random stuff that was being posted. I'm all for creativity in marketing, but at least make it clever. Just don't put anything out there.
