I also think that Bibby is showing more on court leadership.
Bibby has been fantastic this year. Playing very smart and hitting shots. I love what he has done for us this year. I think his lift coupled with Marvin's growing ability to shoot, defend and rebound have been the biggest boosts for the team.

Seriously, how can people be bitching when they've won 9 of their last 10? Unreal.
I agree. After all the down years, the team has slowly been building into a real nice force in the East. Getting better just isn't good enough for some people.

i bet i know who's gimmick this is..
What about dominating a team we weren't suppose to dominate? like for example the Nuggets?
Nobody here wants the team to win. They either want them to be an NBA Live team and blow people out by 100 or they want their own paltry prognostications to be correct so they can say "I told you so".

I'm surprised that JJ only has two tripple doubles.
If I remember, he has been real close a lot. He really got it done tonight. So did Marvin.
-
But what about the second quarter?
That's what the Makers Mark is for.
Although the beers are 11% and 9%, so I will be flying high.

Same here D-M - I'm back to Coors since the PBR experiment didn't work against the Celtics....to the Chatroom!
I went a little more upscale. Have a Southern Tier Krampus and a Southern Tier Creme Brulee. Both 22oz bottles.

So true.
Get the beer ready it's gonna be a frustrating night.
Oh the beer is ready, my friend.
I love the faith we all have around here.

I can't sleep, so I came in here to say good win again by the Hawks. Winning ugly is still winning, and it should be a joy watching this team throughout the year. Between the Hawks and the Falcons, I am over-loaded with boyish glee!

Well,he's been stabbed before.......
1. Not enough times.
2. Judging by his antics and words, I am assuming it was warranted.

I'd always thought what Ex' said is the case but you may be right.
Hypothetically, if we can trade the pick, I'd need to see a little more from Acie or get a better feel for the point guard market this coming summer. We'll have two needs this off season and my thought is that it's harder to find a starting point guard than it is to find a backup big man - the starting point guard also being more important to the team.
It also depends on the backup big man we could find on the market. A guy like Foster or Pryz might be worth it but rebounding/shotblocking bigs like Jerome James or Cole Aldrich might be better than some of guys out there... then again, they might just be Solo Jones which is the risk of the draft I guess.
I don't know. I'd pull the trigger for one of the two guys I mentioned probably, but other than that I'd need to see some proposals.
Foster, yes! I think he would fit in nicely here.

I will never understand the "beat them at full strength" mentality. Injuries are part of the game, and occasionally are an advantage for one team. If he is hurt, so be it, but I am sure it was another classic acting job by Pierce to gain the pity of the refs and the love of the Sports Networks.

The game is on DirecTV. Just marked it for "Auto-Tune".
-
Maybe he could teach Josh how to block a shot so that his own team can recover it.
-
I bet we get some air time tonight. Beating the King.
And it was a very good game.

LOL
Nice win but i really thought they were going to blow it in the 3rd with all the dumb turnovers. they also apparently need another assistant coach to teach the Hawks how to box out. The current coaches are obviously unfamiliar with the concept.
Stupid internet...BE MORE HAPPY

Still only like 3-8 against teams with winning records.
It was a fairly good win. It's a game the Hawks would have mailed in last season. But it's not something to get majorly excited about.
What was the Cavs' record vs winning teams?
-
Fantastic and gutsy win. This defies all haters. This will be an epic home stand.

Much better game last night. Woody got his attention when J smoove had to ride
the bench in crunch time. He was a different player last night. He was doing the
things that we expected of him all along.
Problem is that benching him in the past has been counter-productive. He will come back in, do his "lip thing", and run down and stand at the three point line and not budge on offense. He still has a lot to learn about team basketball.
He's feast or famine...when he is good, he is great. When he is bad, he looks like an NBDL player.
-
I was very much against a max deal. He's a petulant child that can kill you when he pouts. When he is good, he is fantastic, though.
-
Where did this come from? I'd love to bookmark the page.
-
Yep. No TV for tonights game.
-
Seemed OK to me.

Who are you talking about? Yao or Willis? Apparently, I've read Willis only has size 10 or 11? wth? He's nearly or broad line 7 footer and my feet are even that size and I am 6 feet?
I meant Willis. Very small feet!

I always spend North of 50 on beer @ the Braves/Falcons game and now that they went from 24s to 16s it's worse
yeah you just can't act fked up and they'll keep giving you whatever you want
No more High Life 24's at the Dome? I may faint. I LOVED those.

Once again proving: here on Hawksquawk, even a win is a loss.
