  1. 1. They won 66 games in the season...I am no Mathlete but I assume that means they won away from home. 2. anyone who thought Boston had a 'dream team' was kidding themselves. Allen, Pierce, and Garnett have all been mentally outmatched throughout their careers. I am going to enjoy watching a tough team kill them. 3. Who said we were building a team on the series? It was good for the kids, but our GM quit right after and the coach may be next...stay tuned. 4. I knew once Boston lost, I would see a thread exactly like this in here. The team did a good job. Don't act like it is tarnished because the Cavs won a home game.
  2. Dennis Scott? Where does this crap come from?

    Rumor...

Ellis, King, Wilkins, Smith, Knight... The ASG is racist.
  4. Quote: Billy King isnt the best but I think he is better than Knight though..i'd take it i guess. He did a decent job with the Sixers but does have a tendency to overpay players. but he will fire coaches who dont do their job though..lets see what happens So we can go from full-blown AIDS to HIV. An improvement, but they both still are nothing you want.
  5. Quote: According to John Hollinger. Lindsey is the Spurs assistant gm. Hollinger also confirms Billy King is a strong candidate for the job. BILLY KING? That is absurd! If we hire him, we will be way worse off than we were.
  6. Well, Marvin, the Falcons could use a few solid tacklers. I know it was a dirty play or whatever, but that was awesome.
  7. I really need to move down there. Great stuff!
  8. Tupac needed to remember his as well... "Thug Life"
  9. Totally. I am so proud of this team right now it is unreal. I nearly cried last night watching them. They pulled that out on my birthday none the less. What a fantastic game!
  10. The sloppiness is freakin hilarious on that. I am dying looking at it! HA HA HA.
  11. Quote: I'd rather beat a full Celtic squad with Perkins and Garnett. If we have to lose, I'd rather lose to the full squad too. Screw that. Any advantage is a good one. I am not going to apologize for their stupidity.
  12. MAJOR credit due to the city of Atlanta for not only showing up to the games, but making it seem like a Euro soccer match. That is the BEST I have seen at a Hawks game since Nique was on the floor. I had the chills numerous times last night.
  13. That video is freaking scary. I may watch it 50 times today.
  14. Quote: Did you notice Josh Childress laughing behind them? I think he was laughing because he knows the Hawks are in the Celtics' heads right now. Speaking of which, I am seeing the Celtics becoming an emotionally fragile team. Not saying we're going to win the series, but look at their faces...they look like they feel they can lose all of the sudden. Shaken confidence, no toughness. When you let Zaza in your head, you may have issues. I truly think the Pistons would kill the Celtics over 7 games.
  15. "Yellin' Compton, but you moved to Riverside!"
  16. Quote: Am I the only one who remembers Sam Cassell's d**k wagging dance a few weeks ago? Am I the only one who's noticed the Celtics have been showing up teams all year and acting like they're the MJ-era Bulls despite the fact that until Cassell showed up the only one of them with a ring is James Posey? I guarantee you, no matter what SAS or any moron at ESPN said, the rest of the league stood up and applauded Horf for shoving it back in Pierce's smug, overrated face. Agree 100%. Pierce, Allen, and KG have been begging for a dose of reality. Get those three second guessing, and they are mentally fragile. We won't win the series, but we have at least stood up to them. I love how our fans are apologetic for our players being fired up and going toe-to-toe with the Celts. The looks on their faces were that of fear. Pierce completely short circuited.
  17. Quote: I must admit I'm shocked at the Hawks performance last night. I fully expected more of the same. But they proved to me they at least have some heart and can possibly make this series a little interesting. It's going to take winning Monday though to really convince me they are serious. But props to the Hawks for not quiting. They win Monday and we're all vindicated for the moves we have made. Especially if the Suns and Nuggets get swept. Plus, that makes the Celtics look human. I said it before and I will say it again...all it takes to beat the Celts is to stand up to them. They hoot and holler and make a lot of noise, but if you can bully them a bit, they will crumble. Allen, Pierce, and KG are not clutch guys. Allen was a [censored] with Milwaukee always fighting with Glen Robinson, Pierce and Walker were little girls when they were together, and KG hasn't hit a big shot in his life. They are vulnerable. We might not be the team to beat them, but a dose of Orlando, Cleveland or Detroit (which may never happen at this rate) will. If they lose ONE home game, they could crumble like a house of cards.
  18. Back when I was bangin' we didn't stand for that poser crap.
  19. He should eat a bullet. The fans were FANTASTIC last night. As shown in the GA Dome when the Falcons were rolling, they just have to show some life and the fans will come out.
  20. Quote: I think Horford single-handedly increased the rivalry with his taunting of Pierce late in the 4th Quarter. I'm glad you got a chance to go...wish I could have been there. Which was the best thing ever.
  21. Quote: Dan Shulman, the announcer from ESPN, is slobbing on the Hawks d's. It is great hearing some positive things from the announcers for once We do have a good announcing team even though one is a "she". Always interesting to hear a perspective that isn't so "ESPN".
