  1. Okay see the below graphs. 1 = the daily production for Nov 24, a day I produced 60 kwh. Graph 2 is daily production, lower numbers are cloudy/rainy days. Graph 3 shows the production for the month so far. Graph 4 is my energy usage the last 13 months. See starting July the gradual drop in energy usage. This is the effect of the new HVAC. Now see November. This is is the effect of the solar finally working. If I have a problem right now is that I'm not self consuming on my batteries very much and nobody is able to figure out why. So all of my extra production is going into the grid at 3 cents/kwh. So take my usage for November, it was about $100 total in bill. I sent about 1000 kw up to the utility company so my real bill is about $68. My utility pays out your net metering annually. So I'll get a rebate check once a year for $350 ish. Also in Summer the sun is up about 4 additional hours so I'll use less from the utility then and do much better. And this should be the end of this thread. Mods can lock it in a few weeks I'd think. http://www.mediafire.com/view/wk1rj3sgojyl3p8/Solar_November.jpg/file
  2. Can he guard them on the perimeter? Sure...but look at what he's giving up size wise to Gallinari.
  3. Interesting little snippet that highlights why the draft and free agency aren't as great as people say (and why we did so well). https://www.yahoo.com/news/gordon-hayward-lamelo-ball-eat-121202240.html "Gordon Hayward and LaMelo Ball will eat Charlotte Hornets minutes; who loses them?"
  4. I forgot one or 2 people. 5.5 million over the cap right now. 2020-21 Atlanta Hawks Salary Cap Totals This team is currently "hard-capped", which means their Total Taxable Salaries may not exceed $138,928,000 at any point during the season. CAP TYPE CAP TOTAL Active Roster Cap $113,950,371 Dead Money $744,684 Total Cap Allocations $114,695,055 2020 NBA Salary Cap Max $109,140,000 Cap Max Space $-5,555,055 Practical Cap Space $-3,953,462
  5. With not a real training camp. No offseason workouts together. Timing and placement on things like 3 pt kick outs, defensive rotations, etc..take tiime to develop.
  6. The thing with O-Squared (patent pending me) is not only is he a rookie, but a rookie with a long layoff and no summer league. My expectations are low year 1. For Bruno, he is the biggest wild card in the world. He could easily be Capela and learning under Capela might be the best move for him of the offseason.
  7. Some basic observations. 1. 2 of the following Cam, Hunter, Huerter, BB will have to come off the bench and will be getting set up by Rondo. Whoever those 2 are, expect monster numbers as they feast against bench players. 2. Lighter workloads mean less injuries (cross my fingers, throw salt over my left shoulder, spit in my hands and rub). 3. We will still get beat up by teams with bigger front courts. Its a 72 game season so 50 wins is a huge stretch. I'll be happy with 6th in the East and a 1st round upset.
  8. I became a Hawks fan in 1987...Those were my Hawks.....sigh!
  9. Capela and Collins inside, a parade of shooters outside...Trae could very well lead the league in assists this year by a wide margin.
  10. He's either signing for the max or taking a very slim home town discount at this point...Probably the max. Assuming 1 year down the road we're back to business as normal, the upcoming cap will go up a few million. He's going to get the max from someone and then we'll have to match. Given the cap goes up to $112 million next year (my estimate), Giving him the max will not put us in the LT but it will cost us one of Galli/BB in 2 years. When its Trae's turn.
  11. Well his failed drug test puts us in a strange boat. If he failed another he'd be on a much longer suspension. You don't want to be on the hook for that salary if he's sitting a year and would make him much less tradable at that point. Or catastrophic injury (see Klay Thompson). You wait these things out and sign him at the end of the year if you're confident he's getting the max at the end anyway.
  12. A bit of clarity on the above numbers. The salary of Okongwu is based off his hold and not what his actual salary will be. These transactions are being processed in this order so we have the room to sign everyone as allowed. Dunn will be finalized last as he'll have to be fit in with an exception. When all said and done (if I'm calculating this right) we will finish about 4 million over the cap). We will have 15 roster slots and 2 two ways.

  14. So basically, if he clears the waiver process, he can be signed by anyone.
  15. Not correct. https://cbabreakdown.com/trades "No Re-Acquisitions — Once a team trades a player, it cannot reacquire that player during the same season. If the team trades a player between seasons, it cannot reacquire that player until the end of the next season. The only exceptions to these rules are if the player is waived and no other team claims the player. "

  17. Detroit Pistons finalizing roster after active week of moves, waive center Dewayne Dedmon
  18. I'm rocking a 3900x and 5700 xt, I'll be upgrading but I'm not in a hurry. I can 4k game on this so its no biggie (Shadowlands at 80 fps 4k)..
  19. If you have interest in the 3080 or 3090, EVGA has a black on black aio as well. https://www.evga.com/products/productlist.aspx?type=0&family=GeForce+30+Series+Family&chipset=RTX+3080
  20. Here's my fear. We're gonna roll people in the regular season but we don't seem built for the half court rough game. I'm thinking we're a 2 round exit team right now...depends on how the big man play comes along. If Collins has a flaw its that he can be soft when playing other real bigs.
  21. The Asus card will be on their site but won't be out for a few weeks. That thing is going to be ridiculously quiet and will be A quality GPU bins only.
  22. $13-$15 given what happened to the cap this year is about right. If it was a normal year $18 mil would be about right. He's a 3rd option player. He isn't Superman or Batman...but he's not Alfred or the Wonder Twins either.
