  1. We are still waiting to install. I've been told this is par for the course in the solar world. We have 35 of 36 panels on the roof now, waiting on them to finish wiring on the roof before 36 goes in. Wiring has been a problem as the installer and electrician decided to veer from the original install plan. They put in a pipe to feed the wires into the garage and its too narrow. They are having to replace that pipe and a junction box. But I can share a photo or two as most everything is hung . Almost done but not quite. https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipPGlQPBDS7tTxRGHyvowdf-Mn5E1EHkmBhASZKW https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipOf-_J9Fizu-FjcpUVV8W4MHQudfABTmKbx65aZ
  2. Already talk he's headed to N.O.
  3. Rumblings are that if Minnesota passes on Ball at 1, expect the Knicks to trade up for Ball, GS to trade down for Hayes or a project big. Edwards is no lock at 1 either. Wiseman is falling right now and may go as low as 8. Okoro is starting to get more serious attention.
  4. An update to this story, the woman has asthma. There is an exception to the policy for medical conditions. So the officer overreacted. He was informed. She was arrested and charged with criminal trespass. Those charges will probably be dropped and there will probably be a settlement.
  5. I have mixed feelings about this. We all know I'm not a fan of civil liberties being infringed.....but....attendance was conditional upon cooperation. I'm not in favor of athlete's taking a political stance on the field and I'm not in favor of parents doing so in the stands. I'm nothing if not consistent. But I'm also not a fan of tasers or a police "rush to contain" no matter who it is. I looked around and couldn't find the video but I'm convinced I'm going to jail for a long time one day if an officer shoots me with one of those tasers, I'm breaking fingers and limbs. There has got to be a middle ground between come along quietly and 50,000 volts. I would really like to see how that escalated. Also curious if she was a hometown fan if it would have gone the same way. I think this Covid thing has been going on long enough that people's good sense has fled. COVID exhaustion has set in. Easy answer is...the rule is no entry without a mask...keep the mask on while in attendance. Do I disagree with the efficiency? Ya! Do I disagree with should we be playing football right now? That too! But for goodness sake, if its the rule its the rule...period.

  7. They have 3 in the next 3 drafts. but 7 in the following 4. They will probably package some of that future to get picks in the next 3 and rebuild. 2020 first round draft pick from Denver Denver's 2020 1st round pick to Oklahoma City [Denver-Oklahoma City, 7/8/2019] 2021 first round draft pick from Miami and/or Houston (swap, Oklahoma City or Miami outgoing to Houston) Oklahoma City will receive the two most favorable of its 2021 1st round pick, Miami's 2021 1st round pick and Houston's 2021 1st round pick protected for selections 1-4 and Houston will receive the least favorable of the three (via Miami to Phoenix to Philadelphia to L.A. Clippers to Oklahoma City; via Oklahoma City's right to swap Oklahoma City or Miami for Houston) (if the Houston pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyable, then Houston's obligation to Oklahoma City will be extinguished) [Miami-New Orleans-Phoenix, 2/19/2015; Philadelphia-Phoenix, 6/21/2018; L.A. Clippers-Philadelphia, 2/6/2019; L.A. Clippers-Oklahoma City, 7/10/2019; Houston-Oklahoma City, 7/16/2019] 2022 first round draft pick from L.A. Clippers L.A. Clippers' 2022 1st round pick to Oklahoma City [L.A. Clippers-Oklahoma City, 7/10/2019] 2023 first round draft pick from L.A. Clippers-Oklahoma City, 7/10/2019] 2023 first round draft pick from Miami Miami's 1st round pick to Oklahoma City (via L.A. Clippers) protected for selections 1-14 in 2023, 1-14 in 2024 and 1-14 in 2025 and unprotected in 2026 [L.A. Clippers-Miami, 7/6/2019; L.A. Clippers-Oklahoma City, 7/10/2019] 2024 first round draft pick from Houston Houston's 2024 1st round pick to Oklahoma City protected for selections 1-4; if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Houston will instead convey its 2024 2nd round pick and 2025 2nd round pick to Oklahoma City [Houston-Oklahoma City, 7/16/2019] 2024 first round draft pick from L.A. Clippers L.A. Clippers' 2024 1st round pick to Oklahoma City [L.A. Clippers-Oklahoma City, 7/10/2019] 2024 second round draft pick from Memphis Memphis' 2024 2nd round pick to Oklahoma City [Memphis-Oklahoma City, 7/6/2019] 2025 first round draft pick from Houston or L.A. Clippers (swap, Oklahoma City outgoing) Oklahoma City has the right to swap its 2025 1st round pick for Houston's 2025 1st round pick protected for selections 1-10 or the L.A. Clippers' 2025 1st round pick (if the Houston pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyable, then Houston's obligation to Oklahoma City will be extinguished) [L.A. Clippers L.A. Clippers' 2026 1st round pick to Oklahoma City [L.A. Clippers-Oklahoma City, 7/10/2019]
  8. Which should tell you they're planning a rebuild.
  9. Didn't say they wouldn't, just looking in a fairly accurate crystal ball. Oklahoma isn't really on any up and coming player's short list for happening places to live, They are cap hamstrung this offseason so their only flexibility is trading and most likely for draft assets in 2021.
  10. Players on their current roster who are under contract for 2021-22. Paul (player option), Gilgeous-Alexander (Team Option), Darius Bazley (Team option), Isaiah Roby (non-guaranteed), Dort Luguentz (non-guaranteed). They are on track to for a total roster remake in 21-22. Their is a good chance their expirings this year will be getting spun to contenders at the trade deadline.
  11. There is a good chance that isn't going to be a 1st rounder. I'm not sure OKC makes the playoffs as they look to be heading toward a rebuild. Thunder Hawks (protected top 14) PICK MAY OR MAY NOT TRANSFER DEPENDING ON THUNDER DRAFT POSITION Traded • Dennis Schröder • Mike Muscala in a 3-team trade with 76ers, Thunder for • Carmelo Anthony • Justin Anderson • draft pick(s) (2022 first round pick, protected top 14 in 2022, else 2024 second round pick, 2025 second round pick (?-?)) (from Thunder) (?-?) on 2018-07-25
  12. Been saying this from the beginning...sunlight good, dark bad. https://hermancain.com/study-links-vitamin-d-covid-risk-putting-bans-outdoor-activities-spotlight/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=thenewvoice&utm_campaign=fbfeed&utm_content=2020-09-22&fbclid=IwAR1q1XfwCX1A3Sk0KAHgqywedg2o7-_ypr4DIN3OEzNon_6rj47MfasxiLM Did we really need a study for this? Vitamin D - naturally created strengthens the immune system. This is not news.
  13. Well yes and no. There is no governance over agents and reporters.
  14. Everything went really, really quiet about 5 days ago in rumor world. Too, too quiet.
  15. I'm not sure that's feasible for either team. Since Hunter and Huerter are on rookie deals, you are effectively trading a 4, 19 and 2 future firsts (I'm assuming you aren't protecting them) for Booker. You don't need to throw in Dedmon (that just complicates things) because we're miles under the cap. Booker is a phenomenal offensive talent but his defense is very average to just slightly above average (depending on what you look at). But next to Trae he'd take a step back. Offense is for show, but you have to play some defense to win. Without 2 future firsts or Hunter, I'm not sure where you're getting enough defense to make up for your 2 guards. I'm not sure I like the fit. On the Phoenix side of the ball, both Huerter and Hunter are fine players but neither is an Alpha on offense. Phoenix needs a compliment to Booker offensively, not to trade him away. I just couldn't see the logic in this trade for either team. It puts Phoenix right back into rebuilding mode and makes us super fun to watch but not on a path to being a contender. If anything it handicaps us.
  16. To be honest, a more realistic deal would be Wiggins + 2 for (insert name here) and other future protected considerations but Golden State's fan base isn't going to understand the finances of it all and just see it as getting robbed.
  17. Okay so financially speaking for both clubs, if it was the Hawks, the only player making any sense would be Dedmon. Basically, Dedmon out + 6 for Wiggins +2 would be a net salary change for GS of $19 million this year. But a net change of $19 million year one and $28 million year 2 for Atlanta of Wiggins and the new rookie. If the Hawks did this kind of a deal, I would think it would require GS sending other (heavily protected) considerations and would mean Atlanta would be taking Wiseman, another center or would have one lined up in free agency. So if you're the Hawks, you'd do it to move up to Wiseman but would lose a great deal of flexibility for the resign of Collins. I'm not saying either team would do this but to meet the necessary financial considerations GS would be looking for, it would look something like the above.
  18. Man I don't know on this. It all comes down to flexibility, the new cap/LT etc. The way I'm looking at it, they don't have any way of getting under the LT without dropping a net 15 million in Salary. Their practical cap number right now is $145 million + the pick and they'll need to add 3-5 players and the new LT will be around $130 million. If they make the judgement call they have to just dump Wiggins, they aren't holding any cards except that #2 pick. Plus the pick has a pretty big cap hit by itself. It comes down to do you want to keep Curry, Thompson, Green together or remake it. Wiggins may have to just be dumped to get any flexibility.
  19. As you've talked about previously, getting a 2021 thrown in probably gets it done on any deal. GS is overvaluing the pick right now considering the cost of picking that high in salary against their already pitiful LT situation.
  20. I don't think huerter gets that done but yes, they are looking for something like that.
  21. GS thinks they can move Wiggins + 2 for a better fit that costs less and a trade down. Basically look for teams with greater than $10 million in functional cap space and a pick higher than 15. They're looking for better fits and less money, not necessarily = talent. They've had conversations with no less than 7 teams.
  22. That's old simmer. It was discussed. Nothing is imminent that I'm aware of. GS is playing teams off of each other to see what interest is there.
  23. Supes - ask your boy about Phoenix today.
  24. 1. Pretty sure this is just Minny trying to start a bidding war and get the trading up teams to up their offers. 2. This is that deal conversation I was talking about. Depending upon who is available at 4 this could definitely happen. They could take Thaddeus on a 1 year rental. The way I heard it is they pulled back because they don't want to make it if the player/players they want aren't available at 4. 3. The Boston deal, if it goes down will take a 3rd team and would look very complicated...like. Boston Trades 14, 26, 30, Marcus Smart and future considerations for 6 and Marcus Smart (or other) and 3rd team takes 26, 30 for a higher pick and moving salary. It was very complicated how I heard it and it sounded like Boston sports writers starting stuff. 4. I hadn't heard this but it doesn't surprise me. New York desperately needs some kind of buzz and Horford has been a bad fit for Philly.
  25. Ya they couldn't decline fast enough.
