Baze is making $16.9 million this year and he's Bud's boy. The only way he isn't starting is if he's in a full body cast.
  2. count the number of 3pt and jumper makes. he already has the game, it just isn't used.

3875, that is the number of shot attempts by players who were on the Hawks last year that are not going to be on the Hawks this year. That's 47 shots per game to be absorbed by all the youngsters. That's kind of terrifying.
  4. There is a thread for this. I went over it (sort of).
  5. You show that step back jumper that followed it or don't show anything at all.
  6. Collins also fought for like 6 loose balls in the game, winning 4.
  7. Dwight and Thabo, only vets / players he mentioned that helped him.
  8. People will talk about his tomahawk slam but that step back jumper from Collins was pure beauty.
  9. Collins continues to impress. 8/5/1 in 11 minutes but doing other work when his number isn't called.
  10. KCP's shooting % is going to keep his top offer around $15 million. Despite the defense, Hardaway is better right now (though Hawks U could help with the shooting). If Hardaway got $16.5 million starting and the number of teams that can offer that type of contract are shrinking daily....KCP's value is $15 million "max".
  11. If Harkenstein in included you could consider taking Anderson.
  12. His defense is off the charts, but the operative word in shooting guard is shooting.
  13. and that's pretty much accurate. Same as I said up top but just cleaned up the numbers a bit.
  14. So my major observation last night was on Collins during PnR opportunities. He kept trying and each time they went to him on the PnR, it was beast. He seems to already understand the early release on the PnR show and go play and is far too quick out of the PnR for most big men to handle rolling. Unfortunately, our summer league team wasn't on his level. They ignored it too often on the second team (or had no idea what he was doing). First team was looking for their own shot working on things but the few times they actually ran it, he looked like a seasoned vet. The kid is ready. I am not too big to admit when I was wrong. The Hawks hit a home run on Collins.
  15. So that's $31.5 million in room, match Hardaway and its $15 million....subtract Crawford and its $12.5 or less in room based on what they do or do not stretch.
  16. Okay Spotrac has it 99% updated now. Practical number is the number I keep referring to. http://www.spotrac.com/nba/cap/ . Shows the Hawks at $68,541,272, not including Crawford/Hardaway.
  17. This right there....have to have want to.
  18. Seriously though, working with the Hawks' organization in public affairs or player research would be a dream job to me. Use your contacts and make that happen.
  19. Final box score not up yet but at some point in the 3rd quarter, Cordinier posted a -23 +/- in only 10 minutes of play. That's hard to do.
  20. I'm thinking we're going to have to wait on an official article from HF on this to know the amount, terms and real cap impact.
  21. Because like the rest of the Hawks Organization, I am constantly confusing hype with facts???
  22. OMG did you see Hollis-Jefferson's hair. First brother I've ever seen with a braids into a man-bun.
  23. Holy crap are we terrible at the 1,5 and bench. IMHO, Collins is the best player on the floor for Atlanta right now. Bembry would be but man he can shoot outside 5 feet. and lastly....Get Solomon off the floor before he breaks Collins and Prince's legs. That guy set a pick on his own man. Completely stopped Prince's drive to the basket with a friendly fire pick.
  24. It depend It depends on the difference on the buyout and what he signs for elsewhere and the money left in our cap. If there is space, you absorb it now...if not, stretch and only to the number of years necessary to absorb the most into the short term.
  25. Our centers look terrible. Cordnier looks terrible. Collins, Prince, Bembry outclassed everyone in the first 6 minutes. Collins looking way ahead of schedule.
