  1. FYI, The Indy deal is not dead, Indy is just weighing what else is out there. Barring another partner stepping up, this will resurface by the draft.
  2. Not me, scouts say he has similar potential. Remember, he is only 19 years, 4 months old. He was 18 when playing at Duke. (see my post May 11th). Really the only one that would have considered at 15...now its looking for sure he goes top 10 and it will require them trading up.
  3. Because Lively is 7'1" and has similar potential to your boy in Memphis.
  4. No go ahead to say much but if something hits the news about why Nate/Schlenk left and it involves the assistant coaches, the young guys, Huerter's departure and the long term deals handed out, you heard it here first.
  5. I might be able to post something tonight. Something I've sat on since Nate left. Might hit media in a day or two.
  6. The Ayton thing is a little more than exploratory at this point. We're working a few things with overlapping pieces. Main reason Capela isn't included yet is because he's in a few other possibilities. All 3 of he, Collins and Hunter are being worked right now. Other complication is teams asking about including either JJ or AJ in deals.
  7. The above is no longer the case and this is the one player I know the Hawks are interested in. I believe the above is why you see the rumors with us and Dallas. Going to need to be 10-12 to score Lively.
  8. I think part of that though is Collins plays without fear or did before injuring the finger. He played different, lost any handle he had....he's still relearning a lot of things right now.
  9. Uhm....Jalen is really good in the post, but we don't feature it. He has a true back to the basket game. You need to watch some of his highlights from the skyhawks. Here watch this game from last year, focus on 40 second through 1:05 mark. What he lacks is aggressiveness in the post, not size. Jalen is very afraid of committing the offensive foul. I believe this has to do with Nate's quick hook for rookies/young players.
  10. https://hoopshype.com/rumor/quin-snyder-denies-having-ultimate-control-over-the-hawks-roster/ the truth is somewhere in between
  11. A few things you may not have considered and that's Jalen. Jalen is working on 3 things this off-season. 1) adding good weight. 2) better first step on defense/reading his man. 3) smoothing out his outside shot 18-20 and 3Pt. If Jalen can get above 35% from 3, add 10-15lbs and improve that first step on the perimeter....it changes everything we can do with the rest of the roster.
  12. 3 weeks but ya, Not much has changed from what I posted but some new is out there. I'll post when I can and know more.
  13. I see your point that you can't ignore injury history but I think whenever anyone makes statements like that they are saying "if both are healthy for 82 games, the fit is "x""
  14. A pairing of Porzingas with Trae is about as perfect a pairing as you can get, especially if you start a shooting center with good positional defense next to him.
  15. A large number of the moving players are people we talked about at the trade deadline. Some of these rumors are just recycled but there's a good reason for that. In many cases, trades that couldn't be finalized at the deadline will be able to be when team caps change after June 30th. So a number of the deals you'll see will be announced draft night but won't be finalized until after the moratorium ends. Trades finalized before June 30th but after the last day of the regular season count toward the next season's cap, not the previous. Although still within the 2022/23 season, you cannot trade to avoid the salary tax after your season ends. So there is a bit of freedom there. You can trade with an eye forward on your next cap/tax threshold, not the current. Key dates before season starts: https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2023/04/key-2023-nba-offseason-dates-deadlines.html June 18 Latest possible end date for NBA Finals. June 22 NBA draft day. 16. 1 should, 2 could.....let me simplify that. They are not the same thing.
  17. I would be surprised if 1 of the 3 front court players isn't moved...I wouldn't be surprised if 2 are. There are a lot of talks happening and all 3 are on the table. There is over 63 million dollars tied up in Collins/Hunter/Capela for what is 1) a bad fit defensively with Trae and 2) is very average offensively.
  18. With the conclusion of the Finals last night and today's media being the celebrate Jokic tour, I expect serious rumors to start being floated starting tomorrow through this weekend. Let the games begin.
  19. For a look at what other teams see when they view Deandre Hunter, see this article. https://nbaanalysis.net/2023/06/08/nba-trade-rumors-new-york-knicks-atlanta-hawks-deandre-hunter-jalen-brunson-julius-randle-rj-barrett-mitchell-robinson-bold-scenario/2/ Trade proposal per the NY writer. Atlanta Hawks Receive: G/F Evan Fournier, 2026 First-Round Pick (NYK), 2028 First-Round Pick (NYK), 2029 First-Round Pick (Swap – NYK) New York Knicks Receive: F De’Andre Hunter He has real value.
  20. So simplifying: Trae = 1 pts, 4 touches. Luka = 2 pts, 3 touches Jokic = 3 pts, 1 touches. IE: the original chart/post was misleading. Only caveat is I believe all of Jokic's rebounds count as touches.
  21. I'd like that chart better if the X axis was touches, not time of ball possession.
  22. and I have a bellybutton....your point? Its the offseason and the madness has set in....4 weeks till summer league
  23. and I love him but no. Clint can get you more.
  24. Before I answer this, if we had Delon Wright instead of the Holiday brothers last year.....how many more/less games do we win.
