Final_quest
Two things. I'm all for trading Al, but not for Darko. That is ridiculous. To respond to Vdunk. Were Bosh, TJ Ford, Wade, and Carmelo better picks than Darko? Absolutely. Can we definitively say the Pistons would be in the middle of a three peat if they had drafted Wade or Bosh? No f way. I love watching Wade's highlight reels, but the Yankees and Mets do this every year. They are paper champions. Better talent on paper does not always get you championships. Besides, I only mentioned it as a possible blessing in disguise. The thing is we just don't know what this Pistons team would be like with any of the other options, that's the point. Spiral
I'd do Delk/Donta for Darko in a minute. I'm sure Detroit is looking for an expiring contract because they'll want to clear cap space to sign Tayshaun & Big Ben after this year. From our standpoint, we should have a pretty good handle on things as far as Darko's talent. Both Woody & Herb should be very familiar with Darko's game having coached him in Detroit and would know if he's capable of playing in the NBA.
