1524
Tonight was proof that the Hawks ARE a better team without Al Harrington. I like Harrington, but he just isn't a go-to scorer, but still an outstanding compliment player. Make a deal BK! Great win Hawks!!!!
HawksFan87
you never lied if JOSH can do that more often and MARVIN and CHILL come in and make their hustles plays I like this team this is the most excited I have ever been after a game and what better than to get a win before the all star break. Gray Mule
Hawks won by hitting their foul shots. Lakers missed a lot of theirs. That was more than enough to make the difference. I think Hawks had 12 more points from the line than Kobe & Co. did. GREAT WIN !!!!!
exodus
The Hawks were down 10 when Harrington went to the bench in the first half. When he came back they were tied. Hawks were down 3 when Al went to the bench in the second half. When he came back they were up 6. That's PLUS 19 WITH AL ON THE BENCH!
Packfill
Since the Hawks are so much better without Al why doesn't Billy trade him? Wouldn't it make sense to trade him now as opposed to after the season because his value is likely to decline - assuming the young guys take his minutes over the second half of the season they his value in a sign and trade goes into the toilet after the season. I dunno. According to what Chad Ford and others think, BK believes that he might get the best value by waiting to deal Al this summer. But with Al getting a physical to have his knee checked out, maybe that's a harbinger of a trade soon to come. Who knows?

Moderators macdaddy Posted February 16, 2006 Moderators Report Share Posted February 16, 2006 He traded for Lue and JJ had 15 assists last night. BK doesn't believe that we need anything else at the point.
Johnnybravo4
All I am sayin is that why don't we send Lue and Harrington to Orlando for Franchise. I know that we are a division rival but it would give them a frontline of Hill Al Howard And with Francis salary off the books they could resign Al and move him to SF when Hill retires..then they would have Al Darko Howard We could play francise at the point. We could then draft Shelden, pick up Atlanta native Cato in FA once he is released by the Pistons and lets win 45 games next year Francis/Ivey JJ/Salim Marvin/Chills Smoove/S Williams Zaza/Cato/Batista
Nicholasp27
no to francis and marbury i like francis better than marbury for our team, but his salary is a killer he also won't be nearly as good by the time our guys are in their primes and contending if we get him, i'll embrace him, but i'd rather not trade for him i'd rather have one of dre or one of portland's 3 pgs
