Smoove on a mission

After the lakers game, we said Smoove was on a mission to prove he's more than a dunker

well, we were right; he is on a mission, as he or chill mentioned recently re: snubbing of rookie/soph game

so, how is his mission going?

7 games and we are 4-3 in those 7

his stats:

pts/rebs/ass/steal/to/block fg ft w/l

2/15 21/15/2/1/0/3 on 6/11 and 9/11 w

2/21 10/15/5/1/3/7 on 3/9 and 4/8 l

2/22 14/5/5/2/3/1 on 6/11 and 1/2 l

2/24 9/7/7/1/0/4 on 1/6 and 7/8 w

2/25 13/11/2/1/1/5 on 4/14 and 5/8 l

2/27 19/9/5/0/2/4 on 6/12 and 7/8 w

3/1 9/9/4/1/2/7 on 3/10 and 2/2 w

that averages to:

13.57ppg

10.13rpg

4.29apg

1spg

1.57to

4.43bpg

29/73 fgs

35/47 fts

that's a 2.73 a/to ratio

if he moves to pf full-time and really applies himself (and hopefully ups the fg%), could he be close to a 15/10/5/5 player?

how many 15/10/5/5 players are there in the league? i know there are only like 11 15/5/5 players...so 15/10/5/5 (or even 15/5/5/5) is even rarer; maybe lebron and ak47?

yeah, nobody has 15/10/5/5

however, smoove won't be able to average 5 ass or 5 blocks

but if he can get 15-20 in any combo of 3 non-point categories, that would be great

best years:

ak47: 8.1+4.1+2.78=14.98

lebron: 7.4+7.2+2.21=16.81

marion: 12.4+1.8+1.98=16.18

kobe: 6.9+5.9+2.21=15.01

duncan: 12.9+3.9+2.93=19.73

jermaine: 10+2.1+2.55=14.65

shaq: 13.6+3.8+3.03=20.43

big ben: 15.4+1.6+3.15=20.15

He basically said Soove had tons of potential and also could turn out to be a bust..Smoove had a reputation for questionable attitude and work ethic, so I don't think it was an unfair comment..It was exactly that reputation that allowed Smoove to drop far enough for us to get him at 17.

the thing with that isn't that the comment was unfair. If it was in studio I would have been fine with it. But he said it at the draft for all to hear, including the crowd, J-Smoove and his family. It is just uncalled for to insult a man on the happiest night of his life

When the Hawks plucked Smith with the 17th pick in the first round, ESPN's college basketball analyst, Jay Bilas -- my co-worker Khalid swears Bilas looks like Bruce Wayne -- sat up straight and proclaimed that Smith was the player in the Draft "most likely to be a bust."
