Guest Walter
While penetration is necessary, more bad things can happen when you do that don't happen if you entry pass into the interior. It's simply a lower percentage play. So, while we are focusing upon JS scoring on the lower percentage play, the opposing Pf with an equal dissimilar advantage is scoring on the higher percentage play. I disagree with your assessment, as you highlight guards (not forwards) taking advantage of the rules changes, but regardless, JS will be exposed during higher percentage plays more likely to occur in the playoffs with the slowed game. That is not a road map for playoff success. W

How do you think Diaw scores his points? He beats bigger, slower guys off the dribble. Remember that now teams can deny the entry pass much easier than in the past. They can even double a guy who doesn't have the ball if they want to. And there is the 5 second rule.

exodus
Very simple. They both can beat bigger power forewards off the dribble.
Guest Walter
While good, Dirk can do so because opposing Pfs must respect his excellent shooting. Dirk is NOT an indication of what JS can do. Be realistic. W
exodus
Smith is quicker than Dirk, and he is starting to hit from the outside. How do you think he scored 28 pts last night against a motivated playoff team? Was it magic? While your busy railing against Smiths perceived inadequecies he is averaging 18/8 this month along with 3.5 blocks and 4.3 assits.
Johnnybravo4
If Toine can make a career playing PF I know damn well that Smoove can. He has more defense in his pinkie than AW has.
