I'm guessing it will be Miles/Theo for Marbury.

That would take NY out of the Al chase.

And that will make Jackie Butler ours for the taking.

Somehow, i believe that we can get Jack or Blake for a 2nd.

Marbury going to play the 2 at Portland?..I do think they get rid of Miles..I wonder if they would trade the 1st overall pick for Marvin?..He is a local and a good guy, which they really need..We could take Aldridge with the 1st, and BPA with our 4th or 5th..Just a thought..

If Isaiah wants to get even worse, they will make that trade. That may actually kill Larry Brown on the spot.

Hold on now - Chicago can make the same offer as Atlanta, and NY can still match it. They (NY) are clearly not worried about salary cap and the most anyone can offer Butler is the MLE.

Actually, that's the trade that Larry Brown was pushing for at the break.

He wanted Theo's shot blocking... Maybe he was having a Philly flashback.

But I think LB would do just about anything to get rid of S.M.

I think Miles has made his last play as a trailblazer. I don't think you will find any other teams interested in his contract or his attitude. But NY needs an athletic Wing who can play defense.

NY is past the hard cap.

I don't think they will match.

Why wouldn't they? They're clearly not worried about Salary, Butler is a promising young player, it doesn't count against the MLE, and the Knicks don't have their own pick. The most anyone can offer Butler is the MLE, and I think NY matches that without even blinking.
