KB21
Aldridge, Thomas, and Roy cancel workouts with Bobcats This might change the dynamic of the top four picks. With Rudy Gay coming in for a second workout, it definitely looks like the Bobcats will be choosing either Gay or Morrison. This report says they tried to get Morrison to come in for a second workout, but his schedule wouldn't permit it. Some of you have questioned why we haven't worked out anyone that is rated in the top six, or in what some of the internet experts believe is the top six. Considering this development, it is very possible and very likely that the Hawks tried to set up some workouts, but those players refused to come in...thinking they were locks to go higher. Packfill
It really is weird that they have not had any of the top guys in for workouts. It is almost as if they are planning on a trade down. Who knows. I am still really torn on who I want the Hawks to draft. Aldridge and Williams are great prospects but they play forward and the team has already invested enough high picks on those positions. Center or point is the real need, but it is questionable whether any of O'Bryant, Sene, Foye, Williams or Rondo are worthy of such a high pick.
