Could it be the ultimate smokescreen to get Aldridge to drop? Could the rumors about Shelden out there be used to boost his stock as possibly a really strong center with toughness. Make other GM's reconsider who's the best center in the draft?

Then the phantom Aldridge injury rumors?

If Tor picks Barg, then the following could very realistically happen-

1-Barg

2-Thomas

3-Gay/Morrison

4-Morrison/Gay

5-Hallelujah Aldridge

Realistically, who would be doing it. That kind of thing certainly couldn't be engineered totally by the Hawks. And could you imagine Aldridge's agent's response if somebody was passing false medical info around the league about his client (actually that may even be criminal...or at a minimum a good basis for a serious civil suit).
