This is how the rest of the offseason goes.

Atlanta will sign Speedy Claxton to a 5 year 22 millioin dollar deal.

Atlanta will be a part of the Wallace talk, just to inflate his interest by Chicago.

Atlanta will SNT Al/Edwards to Dallas for Damp.

That's it

Our team will be:

Claxton/Lue

JJ/JChillz/Salim

JSmoove/Marvin

Shelden/Este/Solomn*

Damp/Zaza

Then Altanta will sign Cato to a 3 yr 10 million dollar deal.

Our team will be:

Claxton/Lue

JJ/JChillz/Salim

JSmoove/Marvin

Shelden/Este/Solomn*

Zaza/Cato

I likes.....but with that lineup...we would definately need to limit turnovers....to keep from having ZZ and Shelden trying to continously get back in transition.

Going by Woody's tendencies..

We start with:

Claxton, JJ, Jsmoove, Shelden, Zaza...

They play about 15 minutes.

We then roll Shelden over to C and play:

JJ, JCHILL, Marvin JSmoove, Shelden for about 10 minutes at the end of each half.

Of course we sub Shelden with Cato. We sub JSmoove with Solomon, We sub JJ with Salim...

However at the end of the day, we have played our best players 35+ mpg.

I got the feeling listening to Woody that he didn't want to play Zaza as much as we did.

Speaking of Basketballs (not to change the subject butno need for a new thread for a quick question):

Did I miss the big unveiling of the new NBA ball last night?

He's a 10 year pro...that is pretty much the going rate.

composite ball that is supposedly easier to grip than the leather ball and it i more consistent in that all the balls are the same while the leather ones vary a lot more.

A rack of basketballs would probably be as expensive.

Maybe we could get him for less... However, I think his vet status and his previous salary would facilitate us paying more than the 2 year 2 million.

I might be willing to say 3 year 7 million just to keep things fair.
