Royal Ivey's days are numbered. Bozeman started at point guard for UCLA prior to tearing his knee last year which lead to Farmar starting this season. Bozeman has a shot to make this team due to his defense on the perimeter. Sort of like a Eric Snow type.

The funny thing about this team is that John Edward will probably average less than 3 minutes a game on a summer league team and he make $1 mil per season
b3bawla
Marvin is the only 3 on the roster so he is going to get a lot of time. Salim Bozeman Marvin Shelden Esteban
Sevin
Didn't they just exercise they're option on Royal? Isn't he guaranteed for next year now?
Final_quest
They said Royal would not be on the summer league team so that Salim could get most of the time at point.
1524
Yea, Royal isn't going anywhere.
Yeti
Looks like mostly rookies and first year guys - Josh, Josh, and Royal are too old. Anyone seen a schedule? or is it on the Hawks site.

Lascar78
they're expected to show some or all of them, but the schedule hasn't been released.
1524
Hopefully Marvin dosn't look lost like last year. And I really hope we see another 30+ preformance like last year from Salim

Lascar78
good call. On NBATV MONDAY, JULY 24 ATL vs. UTA TUESDAY, JULY 25 ATL vs. DAL WEDNESDAY, JULY 26 SAS vs. ATL THURSDAY, JULY 27 ATL vs. SEA SATURDAY, JULY 29 UTA vs. ATL So our last game against Philly is the only one that won't be broadcast. I don't get why they don't show these live
Weez
do we know what time they'll be broadcast? why not live? cause we might miss a 'live' WNBA game!!
DrReality
Yes, Royal is going somewhere, but I don't think it is in the NBA. Maybe over seas.
DrReality
I read somewhere ??? that he has put on weight and bulked up. Anyone here that. That would be very nice to see. He will mature into his body much like Josh Smith. I've heard the optimism about Boseman, but he seems like a real darkhorse to me. If he did make it, you'd wonder if he wouldn't spend time in the D league.
Yeti
Interesting that there are 6 guards on the team and only 5 players for the forwards and center positions. Looks like the plan is for Marvin and Shelden to get a lot of playing time.

Final_quest
I think most teams have an unbalanced summer league roster, it's just the nature of the beast.
