Nicholasp27
if ny offered expiring+frye, then there is NO way belkin could turn that down, a multi-year ROOKIE contract for a rising star how could he even begin to justify that?
DJlaysitup
Quote: I agree 100%. Right now it is about getting paid. This is his best chance for a big payday at 26 coming off an 18 & 7 season. Yeah...it's like the "take one game at a time" and "just do what I can to help my team win" Bee-ess. It's about the money. I certainly can't blame AL for wanting a good payday away from the Hawks. tmac13
Frye will be in the 2nd year of his rookie deal, and unless I am wrong, and maybe I am, but I thought teams held the options on the 3rd year of a rookie deal...So technically, Frye could be terminated after this year .. You are right. The Hawks can trade for Frye in accordance with the ruling. Whether Thomas would trade him is another matter.

ATLJA316
Quote: Quote: Why does he consider GS, NY and Indiana, winning environments? But Indiana has only made the playoffs 16 out of the last 17 years. not to mention making the Finals in 2000......and the team they have now aint' so bad...considering they just got through with one of the worst catastrophe's in the history of the NBA november before last. Indiana also has one of the best fan bases in the NBA...who WOULDNT want to play in such a city?

SmittyandGaylock
"Maurice Taylor has an ending contract that could be used in the trade, but I think any deal with New York has to include Channing Frye. " Why is everybody so high on Frye, sure he's a good young talent but he's really not what this team needs. But yea i'd rather have him over Foster, or Dunleavy
BusBoyIsBack
Golden State has the most to offer. We need to make a deal with them.
