If the owners are holding up a trade with Al, there is little to no chance they would go for Maglorre's contract? I think he could be one of the missing pieces, but . . . . seems like the guys who sign the checks are being pretty stingy.

Thanks fanatic...I was wondering about that. So when AL goes, we basically just get his salary that we've been paying...to pay someone else if we want to - or to use on a player if we get one in the snt.

So we easily could get a serviceable big and still come out ahead in salary as far as Al goes.(?)

If they use the TE, you can't get back another player in the trade from Indy - just picks. They could do a second separate deal for one, though.
