Premium Member Diesel Posted July 28, 2006 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 28, 2006 I think we'd do much better if we went after Randolph Morris. Actually, I would give Olowakhandi a chance. (Low Salary of course).

Seano
Quote: Actually, I would give Olowakhandi a chance. (Low Salary of course). Yuck. I would rather not even waste the time, money, effort and roster space on Olowakandi. He's a terrible player, and apparently has a terrible attitude (lazy, unmotivated, etc etc). Even if he came cheaply, I wouldn't want to mess around with signing that guy.
Premium Member Diesel Posted July 28, 2006 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 28, 2006 I think when you consider him being a #1 pick.. Sure, I wouldn't want him. However, if you're talking a guy who gets about 1.5 million... WE have to at least look into it. He's 7 foot 270 with good agility and strength. That alone makes him better than Edwards. I will put it out there like this: I would give Olowakandi a 2 year 3 million dollar deal before I gave one to Cato or Wright. Well, maybe not Wright. DrReality
Would prefer David Andersen. Gettig rid of the stif Edwards is shrewd on BK's part.
Premium Member Diesel Posted July 28, 2006 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 28, 2006 I look at David Andersen as a dream. He's happy playing where he is. He makes more money playing where he is. I would like him in Atlanta, But I'm not going to hold my breath.
Duff_Man
Like the great Bill Walton said: "If you put Michael Olowokandi on your team, disaster is soon to follow." We are trying to build, not take wash out lazy bums.
