and Salim to an extent should see little to no time in the rotation

Brace yourself. Lock the doors and close the curtains on your windows. Send your family to spend a few days with friends or relatives.

JohnnyBravo is coming for you.

Salim is the little in that sentence, the other three are the no.

Salim is a situational scorer ala Craig Hodges or Steve Kerr.

I doubt anyone could really be happy with this. It's still better than taking on a bad contract like Murphy though, and we don't really know what else was offerred exactly. I would be a lot more pissed if it's a 2008 first vs a 2007 though. If it's a 2007 1st, it's not the kind of trade that makes you happy now, it's the kind of trade that preserves your sanity next year when we have to give Phoenix our 1st but we still at least get a 1st rounder in the draft.

The only way I could be really happy if this pick turns into a nice lottery pick. The other possibility, looking much further ahead, is that the year the protection runs out we get a high lottery pick.

What will make me happiest is if our team plays well this year, than this trade can easily be forgotten.
