Howard Average????????

Ok, now I know some of you could careless bout me, but when it's real talk it's real talk.....We all have one thing in common, basketball, and the Hawks. Wait, ok thats two..LOL

But here is a poll on whether or not Howard is a Average player or Above average player. Is he over-rated? Please be real.....

I thought the first question was kind of a cheap shot as I don't think exodus is making the argument that Howard is average and because that is so ridiculous. Then someone actually answered that he was an average player, lol.

First of all you can't find one quote where I ever said Howard is an average player.

Secondly you keep saying how young Howard is and how much he can improve which further shows just how dumb you are.

My argument was simply that Howard isn't a great player RIGHT NOW. However much he improves in the future is irrelevant to how good he is right now.

The rest of the board understands that but for some reason you don't.

I have asked you several times to come up with something that Howard does well other than rebound and dunk and you still haven't come up with anything yet you still insist he is a great player right now.

Yeah, this poll is utterly ridiculous. No one can refute the following statement: as a rookie shaq's free throw shooting, jump shot and passing were below average. This doesn't mean I'm saying shaq was a below average player as a rookie. I'm a lurker who prefers to mostly read the opinions and news bits posted here, but this forum is getting too acrimonious.

You seem to want to build an argument based on taking away somebody's skills.. the very same skills that make them non-average. How logical is that?

What is JT without his shooting ability?

What is Iverson without a crossover and Speed?

What is Ben Wallace without his defense?

What is Glen Rice if he can't shoot?

What is John Stockton if he can't get assists?

I would try to keep one and sub in Shellhead or Childress but yes, I'd kill any number of small puppies to have Howard on this team.

early shaq was great with average skills. His jump hook and other post moves really developped over his first 5 years, but early on his body was amazing enough for him to dominate with average skills.

Seeing that somebody believes that I'm "off my meds" or that I take meds in the first place... (that's what a GA Southern Education yeilds?)...

Let me throw this out there...

IF we did trade Marvin/Smoove for Howard.

Our lineup going into the season could be:

Speedy, JJ, Chillz, Howard, and Zaza..

I suspect that this team would win at least 45 games maybe more.
