Jay Williams Waived by Nets

Coach Frank said that he thinks Williams can play, but needs more time on the court to get there. The Nets are loaded at PG and there wasn't room for Williams.

Wonder if the Hawks would take a flier?

Williams might be better than what we have in Ivey or whomever else.

IMO he should spend a year in the NBDL to get his legs and confidence back. He isn't ready to contribute in the NBA on a consistent basis.

Don't remember but it wasn't me.

I agree that he needs some time to get back in game shape, either in the DL or in Europe. But it would be great if he could come back and make a mark in the NBA, even if its as a good point.
