Admin chillzatl Posted December 15, 2006 Admin Report Share Posted December 15, 2006 there's no way he would EVER be voted in. The coaches will vote him on though, so no worries.

Methinks the original poster wanted to: 1. Draw in a lot of clicks with his caustic headline, and... 2. Show us all how wonderful Iverson is in the eyes of the fans. Agenda level: orange. Premium Member Diesel Posted December 15, 2006 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 15, 2006 Let's say the fans vote in Lebron, Iverson, Carter, and Wade... The coaches have to choose between JJ, Pierce, Hinrich, Arenas, Halmilton, Kidd, Billups, and Redd. Have JJ put up a good enough season thus far to make him look better than just a good player on a bad team? For instance, I can see them taking Arenas and Pierce easily. TheDude
he'll get screwed.....4th highest scoring in the league and a major contributor in all the other categories and he'll still get robbed...i hate their voting system.
TexasPete
JJ is a better all round player than the very strange Gilbert (I don't play no D) Arenas. Pierce is a lock. Hinrich is well behind JJ. Iverson is headed West...
Premium Member Diesel Posted December 15, 2006 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 15, 2006 It never dAWNED on me that Iverson would be in the West. This might end his streak of being voted in... Tmac, Kobe, Paul, Nash, Deron, and Allen already have a strong race going! Who are the fans going to vote for... Paul or Iverson? I don't think the fans can vote in all 4 of those guys. There are going to be 5-6 guards on the East squad and I think JJ gets in before Carter, Pierce, Hinrich, Hamilton and Redd via the coaches' vote. The only problems I could see for him are (1) if the injury lingers and (2) if his play falls off when he returns. However, if he comes back by this weekend and keeps up his play I don't think there is any way he doesn't get selected.
