DJlaysitup
Quote: ...My question is Is how do you know? We only post up our young players once every 5 games, and that is only when we are getting blown out and are in garbage time. People leave the Hawks and all of a sudden become studs... Agreed JB. This is why we need to reduce JJ's minutes and start running plays for the young guys. JJ missed the all-star game and isn't going to be the league's leading scorer (and is being well paid). He should understand. We need to find out what our 2nd-3rd year players have so we can draft/trade accordingly in the offseason. If we win games running plays for JS/MW/SW/JC (and even run Salim off some picks) GREAT! If we don't win - oh well - we will have more info to eveluate them on for next year (and more ping pong balls! )
Guest Walter
Quote: Because we rarely run post plays. Our post plays are mostly limited to some with Zaza and some with JJ on mismatches. We ran many more post plays with Al last year. I wouldn't call him a great post player but he is reasonably effective and FAR more effective in the post thna anything or anyone else we have. If your theory had legs it would run away from you given Al of all "post-players" proves it baseless. W
