Premium Member Sothron Posted March 30, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 30, 2007 If by exponential you mean he becomes at least a 20/6/5 guy next then I would agree. But I doubt we'll ever see that from him.
Johnnybravo4
If he isn't at least a 17/6 man next year then we definitely need to be concerned. But you don't want to end up with a Jermaine O'Neal or Tmac situation where you give up on the young player too early.
Premium Member AtLaS Posted March 30, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 30, 2007 Quote: He was a 6th man college freshman. It was understood that he was a more of a project than say Carmelo or even Durant and Oden. I expect an exponential improvement next season. lol exactly. This is why it was such a horrible decision. He was a 6th man! We already spent a #6 the year before on that position and Josh Smith. AND a high 2nd on Donta, we still had Diaw AND Harrington! With a move like that it's no wonder Marvin gets bashed so much.
drzachary
Quote: Half of Speedy's steals come from deflections that other people make. If the ball bounces to you, it's a STEAL! Most importantly, he does not turn those steals into assists. [/quote Steals aren't as overrated as blocks. Blocks, especially ones that go out of bounds, often let the other team take a better shot than the one that was blocked!
