You could go to any lottery teams board and post the above statement. If is a big word for any lottery team. I mean we had the 4th worst record in the NBA and did not tank in order to achieve it. The owners decided to keep BK and Woody for another season. That alone was seen as a mistake by many in the business.

I am not trying to be a downer here; but IF we do not make some really GREAT decisions with these draft picks; we will probably suck as a team for another two seasons. It's funny how you build up this scarecrow about Yi not being a Center.... However, if we had the 2nd pick, weather Durant was a Center or not would not matter...

Yi represents Talent.

Durant represents significantly better talent than Yi. Nobody but Diesel and Busboy disputes that notion. If we had the second pick we would have taken Durant. However, that would have necessitated trades because we would have added to the logjam.

Durant is a major upgrade on what we have now so trading Marvin and/or Chill would make sense. Yi is not that caliber so drafting him makes no sense. Trading guys to accomodate Yi? Based on what? Your man love?

The prejudice stuff is not only a copout, it is old, and off base. Why can't people have an honest debate without somebody bringing in his nationality? Because most here don't want another forward we have to be prejudiced?

Calling out people for racism or prejudice is a convenient out when the facts don't jive with what you're selling. It's the oldest trick in the book.

Yi is an unproven 3/4 and we already have too many. That is a logical position. If you think I have a bias against the Chinese then have at it but the joke is on you and 90% of the board knows it.
