No one is saying Law is better than Conley. No one is saying Crittenton is better than Conley.

We're saying there is no way Conley is so much better than Law or Crittenton that it's worth taking him over one of them AND a potential all-star player on top of that.

I don't know why that concept is so confusing.

If Mike Conley was Derrick Rose, Eric Gordon, or OJ Mayo then shoot yeah I'd just take my PG and just hope that Spencer Hawes can be slightly better than Pachulia.

But the disparity at the PG isn't big enough to make that move.

I agree. No one is saying that Conelly isn't a talented pg the question is whether or not he is worth the 3rd pick considering he may not be that much if at all better than Law or Critt. IT's not that Conely is the problem but rather the problem is the desire to maximize the 3rd pick in a way that would improve this ball club.
