BossTweed
I stole these from realgm, but I formatted them nicely and took a picture. http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php...er=asc&start=
oiatlhawksfan
Wow, Hoford by far the strongest, and Brandon Wright only 200, atleast he's 6'10. It still between those 2, with me leaning towards Hrford, but I wouldn't at all, be mad if we get Wright.
oiatlhawksfan
Conley with a 40i vert, but he's only 6'0, Crittenton seems more impressive.
ncthompson11
How much was the bench press? durant and oden didnt get it at all and brandan wright got it twice. those were the 3 weakest guys accoring to that. oden didnt want to hurt his wrist though so he didnt try it. Vafan
Wright only weighs 200? And only bench 2 times and has a very subpar vert? No thanks.
BossTweed
Sorry, the bench press was 185 pounds. Oden didn't do the bench press because he was afraid of re-injuring his wrist that was hurt before the season. As far as I know Durant couldn't do any 185 bench presses. oiatlhawksfan
Wow Durant has a 7-5 wingspan.
Premium Member AtLaS Posted June 4, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 4, 2007 Are these legit? Brandan Wright only 200 pounds? He's NO taller than Horford, WOW I hope this shuts up the Wright supporters.
oiatlhawksfan
We all knew Wright was 6'10. Conley is only 6'0, and Horford doesn't have the wingspan we all thought he had. Still it's between Horford and Wright, though choice for Billy.
Premium Member hawkman Posted June 4, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 4, 2007 For all the negative talk about Noah, he sure does look good on paper. He was one of the stronger guys in that group and had a great vertical for a big man. Right now if I had to choose between him and B. Wright as our next center, there's no competition. He looks like a Camby type of player.

Wingspan isn't as crucial for an interior player, standing reach is. Wright only has 1 inch on Horford in standing reach. Wow, Wright doesn't even JUMP higher than Horford, and he's not even faster than Horford in the sprint. Horford is 40 lbs heavier and JUST as athletic. They are both the same height without shoes, which tells me Wright just has taller shoes on.
Packfill
To me, this only helps Conley. He is the best athlete in the draft.
oiatlhawksfan
yeah, and Crittenton looked more impressive than Conley.
Packfill
Who else is jumping on board the Jason Smith bandwagon?
oiatlhawksfan
He's a good athlete, but his arm are short!
AtlantaCham
Two things stick out: 1) Everyone is at least as tall as adverised. I don't see anyone coming out shorter than their previously listed height. 2) Noah must be in the mix for us. Even at #3. I would much rather see Noah and Crittendon than Wright/Critt or Horford/Writt. I re-iterate he looks like a Tyson Chandler/Marcus Camby type with non-stop energy and an unshakeable will to win. Outside of Oden, he is the only lottery candidate that could grow into a starting center position for us.
oiatlhawksfan
like many of yall say about Wright...he can't shoot.
Packfill
Quote: He's a good athlete, but his arm are short! How so? His wingspan is bigger then Critt's and his standing reach is essentially the same as Critt's when you factor in that he is 3.25" inches shorter. oiatlhawksfan
talkin' about Jason Smith.
oiatlhawksfan
They pretty much have the same wingspan, His standing reach is far larger, while yes COnley jumps higher, but only 2 inches higer, and Crittenton is 6'5, they're pretty much the same in the athletic test.
