Billups to the Hawks

Does anyone think Billups would be willing to play here? What about a sign and trade with Detroit where:

Hawks get:

Billups at $12M per year

Pistons get:

#3 pick

Speedy

I don't want to give up Yi for Billup. No way.

Yeah were giving up WAY too much there for 30+ yr old PG who seems to be on the decline. Much rather have Yi/Critt or Law or Conley over Billups anyday.

If the Hawks were read to win now, sure. But you guys are still too young to take on a PG on the downside of his career.

If we picked up Billups, draft Noah at #11, and lose the Speedy contract, then we are a legit playoff contender in the East next year:

Thank you very much. We need to stay away from Billups. He is strting to decline right now and we sure as don't don't want to have to pay him 3 years from now.

QFT. The last thing you want to do is sign a guy to a big deal when he starts to decline let alone give up a piece as valuable as the #3 pick in the draft to do it.
