BHayley
Before I get murdered and assassinated for making this idea, just hear me out: Why not trade J.Smith + Childress for Gasol, then draft Yi? 1)That way you have two proven international players, both above 7"0 clogging the lane. 2) This will also eliminate the "What type of offense" discrepancy, as players like JJ, Acie Law, Gasol, and Yi can create offense, so we can be more of a half-court team (fast break teams don't win championships and we are building something here) 3) We get rid of Josh Smith's sour attitude 4) All the people mad that we lost Smith will be intrigued by Yi. 5) This team will actually win some games. Just an idea...I don't entirely advocate this trade, JUST AN IDEA.
Packfill
That is a bad idea because the Hawks would be even softer on the interior. That and Josh Smith is a fan favorite.
Plastic Man
We would give up 120 ppg. I'd rather trade the whole farm and get KG, than trade over half the farm for Gasol.
BHayley
How exactly does 2 BPG translate into softness? Look at the players around Gasol. Gwinnett County basketball players can play more defense than them
