The money does work for that so it's plausible. I agree on the posturing comments as well. I think for Memphis to have both the #3 and #4 picks in this deep draft are pretty amazing. If you're Portland, would you trade the #1 pick for the #3/#4 pick in this draft? Memphis would have their franchise big man and Portland could still draft for a great, great team.

I think getting PTL involved would do it:

PTL gets Marvin, Lo, AJ, Lue.

Memphis gets Zach Randolph, #52.

Atlanta gets Gasol.

Randolph is a more Physical post presence than Gasol.

This is a perfect trade for everyone.

PTL gets rid of Randolph and picks up Marvin and Cap Savers.

Memphis gets rid of disgruntled Gasol and get a top notch PF.

Atlanta gets Gasol!!

Anyway, if the price isn't too steep (i.e. giving up both picks and/or JJ/Smith), go for the guy who we KNOW can get 20/10 and not the guy who we HOPE to get 20/10.
