Wurider05
It seems like we are about to see alot of moves being made this summer especially in the east. Seeing how Cleveland made to the finals maybe causing alot of teams think that they have a shot if they can make a move or to.
jezmund
I'd be surprised if you didn't see at least 2 trades by Atlanta. They might be minor deals like a Tyronn Lue trade or a maneuver to move down a spot or a few in the draft but we'll be very active this summer and I can't wait. ncthompson11
Hopefully we will sign Theo Papalakous or whatever, and pick up a future pg at 11 and develop him. Maybe we should try and trade lue for a guy like matt carrol or travis diener.
DJlaysitup
If you buy into the theory that BK has accumulated "talent" through the draft - and therefore will be willing to gamble his chips to fill out this roster to make a well-rounded team to ride for the next few years...I would expect to see some real moves. Key is...is BK a real poker player who can switch gears when the time is right - or - is BK an ego driven guy who won't part with his picks because he wants them all to be proven right. If it's the former instead of the latter, he could make it happen this off-season...especially with the lucky acquisition of the #3 pick.
DrReality
He took a lot of abuse last year related to the Al trade, but in hindsight we came out smelling like a rose. Took him forever, but the second pick this year makes all the difference in the world. Given the way that move worked out I'll stand behind him and see what happens. But he'd better get this one right . . . . . becasue he may not have many more chances.
DJlaysitup
I agree...but BK needs to perform as a real GM...and that means that the number of untouchable players (if a trade would truly make this team better)......is.....Zero.
Swatguy
I expect league-wise the most moves in many years. In the east with Cleveland making the finals, indicates that several teams are close to the finals and several are in reach of conference champion series. frosgrim
Magloire would be nice if he can fit into the contract restrictions on the club. Mikki Moore is a tough guy that could really add something to the team. Plus, he can rebound Kappono, is one heck of a shooter and might be what we need coming in off the bench instead of Salim, who is too small. But a short spurt team of (eg when JJ is resting): Salim Childress Kapono Smoove Solo/Sheldon/Z (take your pick) Would fly up and down the court and score some points.
