It would require a little ingenuity, but with Atlanta's $13M in expirings and one of Marvin/Shelden expendable, it could be done.

What would make even more sense would be a three-way involving another Western Conference team. That third team would send out an expiring contract to Minnesota in exchange for a trade exception (caused by Atlanta's cap space). Not only would they benefit from cap relief, but they would prevent Garnett from staying in the Western Conference.

The ideal team would be a playoff team or a borderline one other than Phoenix or Los Angeles. Perhaps Dallas or San Antonio or Golden State?
