Most exciting time to be a Hawks fan ever

at least in recent memory. I honestly cannot remember being this excited about the Hawks since the series against the Celtics so long ago. Getting JJ was awesome, getting SAR was awesome, but they both had their downsides to some degree and neither of them had this much build up as we have had the past month.

To think if we had gotten the tiniest but unlucky in the lottery we could be playing next season with the same guys instead of potentially adding a young all-star center or 2 very promising young rookies.

It seem not only the draft but the major trades revolve around the Hawks. I like it even though I won't be surprise if in the end nothing exciting really happens.

I know it was tough that night of the lottery when we didnt get a top 2 pick but your right the 3rd pick just opens up so many doors to what can happen for us. We were blessed to get into the top 3 when we havent moved up in the draft in quite a while.

I'll get excited when the team actually starts winning some games.

I would be alot more excited if: (1) the team was sold to a reputable individual or company; (2) BK and Woody were shown the door; and (3) the new uni's were better executed.

Just in terms of excitement and "buzz" the Hawks right now have to be the highest since we almost beat Boston in the playoffs in the late 1980's.
