drzachary
Everyone seems to be saying now that the Amare-to-Hawks deal is 'confirmed' dead based on ESPN. All I see from ESPN is the story that Belkin is vetoing the trade. Isn't that patently impossible, for reasons we outlined earlier? Isn't there a "we can just wait til July 1" way out of a Belkin snag? I guess what I'm getting at is this: what is different now than five hours ago before ESPN printed the quite possibly erroneous "Belkin strikes again" story? WraithSentinel
Contract longer than 4 years and going over the cap. Amare contract has 4 years left and I don't have the numbers. Perhaps someone can help me out here. We will be trading expiring contracts in this deal. It basically make it impossible for Amare to put us over the cap. Everyone is saying Belkin is to blame. I just do not see it. It is just the Suns have not been a part of the trade talks, or at least not very long.
DavidSomerset
I guess there is a lot of posturing and BS from every team in the deal. Who knows what the hell is really going on.
thesheedera
here ya go Ford - "multiple sources say Belkin killed deal, Hawks are dysfunctional, a few hours ago I told you the Hawks were in 100%, I need to write blogs and articles at an alarming rate." Bucher - "my multiple sources say the exact opposite, I'm a whore for attention."
