pimp
I don't know if it is good for the Nets. If Jefferson is gone, who's gonna score for the Net's ,when Carter starts playing like a puss?.......like in last years platoffs. In last years playoffs....Jefferson >>>>>> Carter
exodus
Quote: CNNSI is reporting rumors of a Kirlenko for Richard Jefferson trade. That might actually make a lot of sense for both teams. True. They could play AK at the 4 since they play uptempo anyway. Utah certainly is weak at the 2/3. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Lascar78
I never liked Carter-Jefferson as a combo anyhow. I like this a lot for the nets.
DrReality
AK likely makes the other guys on that team better.
shug94
Look at the Nets current lineup: PG - Kidd SG - Carter SF - RJeff PF - Krstic C - Magloire 6th man - Marcus Williams Bench - Jason Collins + others So their bench isn't deep, but they currently have a solid player at each of the 5 positions. If they trade RJeff for AK, then who do they play at SF? Does AK play SF? Does AK play PF next to Krstic and push Mags to the bench? Plus you have to take AK's attitude into consideration. I don't think that Rod Thorn is gonna do this deal. Right now he is just waiting for Jermaine O'Neal to fall into his lap.
Moderators AHF Posted September 25, 2007 Moderators Report Share Posted September 25, 2007 With their existing roster, I would start a combination of former first rounder Antoine Wright and Bostjan Nachbar at SF. Kristic and Magloire will be the team's centers. Kristic can play some PF and Kiri some SF but Kirilenko needs to be at PF and not SF most of the time. Rod Thorn needs to ask himself what he has to offer for Jermaine. When he realizes the answer is "Richard Jefferson," he will realize that he doesn't have a prayer of getting that deal done. Packfill
Quote: . . because this could EASILY be Smoove in 2 - 3 years. The exact same situation, complaining about the exact same things. ???? Couldn't this be true for any player in the league? Nice agenda.
