Premium Member mrhonline Posted October 4, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted October 4, 2007 Hmmm...a turnaround J from Smith. I agree that it would be lethal if effective.
DJlaysitup
Curious...I should know this...where exeatly is JJ on his contract? I realize it's not "last year"...but I wonder if he is thinking that he better start winning if he wants a max (or near max) next time?

thesheedera
Seems like he's been hanging around for longer than a year. I bumped into him at lunch almost exactly 2 years ago just before I left my previous job, and I remember trying to figure out what his role with the team was back then. He's been a regular behind the bench for a while now.
coachx
Love hearing that Smoove has added a turn around J. If he is going to stick at PF it is imperative he strengthen or ,better yet, establish some resemblence of a post game. If we come into the year with 2 productive post options (Horford and Smith), I will wet myself. Read Sekou's report that Horford has quick, decisive, moves in the post with either hand. (Of course that could be a product of ZaZa's defense.) Now Smoove is hitting turn around jumpers ! Can't wait to see the free practice Saturday so we can gage improvement with our own eyes.
