HawksFan87
Smoove has a double double with 16 and 10. The rookies have both played well. Marvin has made some nice plays. Chill and Joe have both hit huge shots. We are down by 7 with about 9 minutes left.

Premium Member mrhonline Posted October 9, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 Horford is ALREADY a better defensive center than Zaza.
TheNorthCydeRises
This is preseason. Winning the game will be nice, but it is more important to not get anybody hurt on a stupid play. Especially one of our starters. JJ, Claxton, and Smoove should not play ANY MORE tonight. I want to see Law . . West . . Chill . . Horford . . Shelden Let that group finish the rest of the game. The starters have proven their point.
jerrywest
Announcers loving Law. Looks very comfortable. Hustling. Driving the baseline taking it strong to the rim. Taking on the big guys.
unknownjdb
Smith with another block and Marvin being agressive again.
Lascar78
It's not just about proving a point. It's about developing chemistry. Horford and Law need chemistry with JJ, Smith, Speedy, whoever...
Premium Member mrhonline Posted October 9, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 Marvin's actually more efficient than Childress for once.

Premium Member mrhonline Posted October 9, 2007 Premium Member Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 You know, if Foyle and Howard didn't have career nights, the Hawks would have won this game. I'll bet that those two players don't combine for 40+ the rest of the season.
