Atlanta Vs. Charlotte Game Thread

Charlotte (0-1) is coming off a 123-99 thumping at the hands of the Orlando Magic. The Magic had a bunch of players in double figures.

Atlanta (2-0) is coming off an overtime shutout win against Miami.

This is a more realistic matchup in the paint in terms of what the Hawks will face on a nightly basis. They just faced possibly the biggest 2 beasts in the NBA at the 5 in Dwight Howard and Shaquille (I'm in impressive shape according to Sekou) O'Neal.

We'll see what Horford can do tonight. He'll be matched up against Okafor for some of the contest.

no Anthony Johnson. Marvin is banged up but will play. Salim, Lue, and Lorenzen Wright will all be in street clothes.

speaking about Shelden Williams, Woody says if you don't bring it this year you're getting pulled. in years past he'd want to pull someone but he'd look at the bench and didn't see anybody worth a damn to put in.

If Marvin's injured why'd they let him play in the preseason? For common sense sake, let the other players on the roster get a chance.

Shellhead is having some problems hitting his free throws in the preseason thus far.

Hawks down 31-27 at the end of the 1st. It sounds like they need to do a better job of getting back on defense and they will be OK.
